A nice converted house in the suburbs. Very professional and helpful staff. Really nice breakfasts. Had a really lovely suite. The one problem I had was that the wifi was very erratic and would drop frequently. Often trying to shift between the router and the extender. I also struggled to connect via an MTN dongle, so maybe a mobile connectivity problem in the area. Staff go out of their way to be helpful.

Staying at the Wild Olive Guest house exceeded my expectations, From friendly and courteous staff, great food and a wonderful place to lay your head down at night....simply fantastic! Would definitely recommend this Guest house to family and friends and will definitely be staying there again when going to Cape Town.

We had a great stay at Wild Olive and will book again on our next trip to CT. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable with a super sparkling swimming pool and nice garden to relax in. The breakfast was lovely and staff helpful and friendly.

Outstanding guest house/B and B The owner is caring thoughtful and almost always available to help in any way The house is lovely - a beautiful pool and our apartment - yes, entire 3 room apartment was always clean and stocked The pool and lounge area even has outdoor seating including a cabana It appears that every room has outdoor seating. The bath is sparkling with a huge shower and amenities. Breakfast was delicious and includes eggs Benedict, pancakes, hot cereals as well as the regulars Attention is paid to individual needs All kitchens are stocked with basics I LOVED everything about this beautiful and restful retreat ( only $10 to the city) The garden is lovely with birds singing and beautiful flowers. Wild Olive is a wonderful bed and breakfast facility located in a large house in the leafy suburb of Newlands. The staff are outstanding. Breakfast is extensive and the garden and swimming pool are ideal for relaxation. Security is excellent. Load shedding creates some difficulties for the owners but they manage these challenging times with aplomb. I would highly recommend this little gem.

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Cottage for the first time in 2010 and were once again able to spend four nights there in September. The cottage was immaculately clean with all the necessary appliances and crockery for a self catering stay. A wall heater and electric heater, plus electric under blankets kept us very warm during a spell of winter weather. The cottage is spacious with a king size bed, plenty of cupboard space and a very nice bathroom, plus DSTV in the sitting room area. Eugene and his wife, together with Tino were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely return.
