We had the privilege to get married at the Bridge wedding venue. Carleen was amazing! She was there every step of the way. JP gave advise and helped wherever he could. They made our special day perfect! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was warm. The venue is beautiful and clean.

I regret the day I ever set foot here and it will haunt me forever when I think of how rude this owner and his team were to me. Never felt so humiliated and angry before in my life. Many people have had the exact same experience as per social media complaints so I know I am not the only person that was victimised. This owner will definitely reap what he sows for the way he treats people.

We booked a wedding at the Bridge and was very disappointed in the service we got from Andrew and Janice. What they advertise and what they deliver are two very different things. You feel more of a nuisance than valuable clients. When we went for a meeting they were not even prepared, they did not have a file on us and even asked our names and details all over again even though we sent them all the details and payment proof beforehand. It makes you wonder when they are so disorganized during a meeting, how capable will they be during a function? We were two minutes late for a meeting and it seemed that it annoyed Janice and she was not very friendly towards us. Not even greeting us properly. Also when you have a complaint it seems as if they do not care. Promises are made and never kept. We complaint about our mock up meeting, on which Andrew told us to give him a week. We only heard from him two weeks later. Makes you wonder how important you as clients really are to them. Due to the lockdown extension where weddings cannot take place we decided to cancel our wedding. Do not think that Andrew will be accommodating in meeting you half way regarding a refund. He will keep the full retaining fee even though he cannot lawfully provide the wedding service on the day we booked. Feedback from them is very poor. I would not recommend this wedding venue at all.

This is also a wedding venue and not just a BnB. We booked a wedding here and it was terrible. Not only was the service poor, the owner rude and the entire experience a nightmare to remember, there is no attempt at accepting responsibility for mistakes or errors or any sort of sympathy. As a BnB, we cannot really make a lot of comment, but from our experience with the venue as a wedding venue, I would not recommend them.

It was a relaxing and comfortable lunch by the river. The place was quiet and looked somewhat undiscovered. The owner visited our table a few times and it sounds like the Green Grass cafe has only been open for a few weeks. Well worth it, a little gem !

My daughter chose this venue as her wedding venue in December 2016 and what a superb venue! The setting is absolutely gorgeous and tranquil. The gardens are beautifully kept and they have a river running through the property. Holly was just on top of everything throughout the ceremony. The food was scrumptious and well presented. The accommodation is rustic but more than adequate. Yes they don't have all those modern aircons and luxuries, but it is Africa and nothing beats Africa's weather. We found the service top notch and one of the best values for money as far as wedding venues go in Johannesburg. Thank you Holly!

Very nice venue for wedding, but the B&B a disaster! Reception not very efficient - was told to drive and find room. No explanation about breakfast that only starts at 08h30 - no options. Small room, no ventilation, small little ceiling fan. Mosquitoes as big as vultures. Shower not draining - not what we expected
