The best lodge ever if you love horses an farm life. I could not believe that a weekend can be so relaxing. The accommodation is excellent, breakfast is top quality and the area is perfect. Rooms are very neat, perfectly decorated and comfortable. Good quality stay in the Kayalami area and did I mention the horses? Loved every minute of my stay and will recomend this accommodation without hesitation. Thank you for a perfect weekend and hope to see you soon again.

Unique hidden gem amongst nature and horselovers! (rabbits too)   LOCATION   The premises are PICTURESQUE, TRANQUIL and PEACEFUL, and ideal paradise from the hustle and bustle of city life.   ROOMS   Comfortable, countrylife and style rooms with beautiful rooms and multi-function bathroom (twin basins and tub with seat)   SUMMARY   Come enjoy the splendid sunsets, the romantic rooms and the “stablehouse” hospitality!

Really stunning location and staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was lovely and the view of the horses was incredible. The only down side to the stay was the power outage - and unfortunately the generator did not reach my room.

The manor was very close to the work venue in Riversands making it very convenient. The room and bathroom were always kept clean and the water always hot to perfection. The tv channels were not varied as expected, a lot of channels had static. This was however not a problem for me as I either passed out when I returned to the room or continued working. Thankfully the WiFi worked perfectly as the cellphone signal is not the best (perfect if you want little to no disturbance). The aircon worked well and I appreciated the extra blanket that was also available in the room. The breakfast included was delicious and the owners are lovely people with friendly Jack Russells. It was a sight watching the owners walk and feed the horses every morning, however horse riding is not permitted as they are sport horses. It was an overall lovely experience and would definitely return.

Not quite what was advertised on their website. Although the rooms were clean and mostly well kept, there was little much else to do at this venue. All the splendid things promised on the website including horse riding, a swimming pool and breakfast daily were unavailable. When we asked the staff about where we could have a swim (because the heat was scorching on the weekend we stayed here), or whether there was breakfast being served, most of them responded with "i don't know" or "there is no one here to help you". The owner (or at least this was my assumption), Nick, was nowhere to be seen the entire weekend we stayed, aside from the arrival day when he made sure to be present to take our money. He did not bother to explain to us what facilities or amenities were available here (i assume because there are none) or even what activities we could do in the area. We had to hunt for a wifi code because no one told us where to find it, only to discover that the data quota had been maxed out, and we had no one to assist us with this. Generally, the customer service was poor from the beginning. We stayed here two nights which, i think, was one night too many. I would not go back as it too far a drive and too much to pay for just a bed with nice linen!
