The rooms are decadent with warm rich wood furniture & comfy beds. Staff are welcoming & helpful….always smiling ☺️ The place is like a majestic escape from travel schedules or long flights in. You could also host conferences or gatherings here with plenty of space for everyone. Manager Tracy is very bubbly & welcoming. Check it out & come for a visit! I highly recommend Belvedere Estate. Their rooms are lovely and comfortable and the Lady in charge, Tracy, is well-organized and on top of everything. She is also friendly and very professional. The grounds around the units are beautiful and tranquil, great for spending some time outside relaxing. Their security is also top-notch. The breakfast was lovely.

We got married down the road at Forest Walk in April 23, we decided to get ready at The Belvedere and it was absolutely beautiful, Tracy made all the arrangements and we had the whole guest house to ourselves, such a lovely place, great breakfast and lovely rooms, comfortable beds and every room has an en suite bathroom, would 100% recommend! Honeymoon suite is GORGEOUS! Their shuttle took our bridal party to and from the venue & we had a wonderful first night as husband and wife

We were met personally on arrival (which was late in the evening) by the ever smiling Tracy and taken straight to our room without the checking in process because “I know who you are. We can do the paperwork in the morning .” What a refreshing change. The hotel itself is a collection of small buildings (I thought it was a former farm from the layout) each being a bedroom, which are laid out in beautiful rustic style. Big beds, a spacious bathroom with fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. The grounds are nicely kept and there’s a small swimming pool, although we didn’t get the chance to use it before we left. Breakfast (included) was a nice spread of cereals, fruit and hot options (ham, sausage, baked beans and mushrooms) toast etc. All in all a very nice little hotel. One tip, there is no heating in the room, other than a small electric fire on the wall in the bathroom, so bring your warm pajamas and slippers if you’re staying here in the winter time.

On Sunday 21st March I stayed at the Belvedere Estate as part of a bridal party, the marriage taking place at the nearby Forest Walk venue. My stay has to be one of the worst I have ever had to endure. 1) Facilities were dirty and badly maintained. 2) Arrangements were made to use the outside entertainment area upon our return from the wedding reception. When we returned we found no staff at all other than the gate security. We had requested for the bar to be open and ice and glasses to be made available, none of this had been arranged. 3) The room my Wife and I occupied was grubby to say the least. There were not enough towels, no coffee and there was one cup. When we attempted to use the shower it was totally defective, water shot through the top of the rose and hit the ceiling. There was also no hot water. The tv set did not work at all. 4) The food at breakfast was cold to Lukewarm. 5) There was no management evident at all. At least there should be an onsite manager who should greet visitors and ask them if all is ok, there was NOTHING My Wife and I do a fair bit of travelling and we share experiences with other retired people. Apart from never using this establishment again, we will have no hesitation in giving a full revue to our friends and others we meet. A SHOCKING EXPERIENCE.

Stayed here for 1 night before going to Kruger. The environment has a peaceful feel. The room is clean and spacious and has a fireplace which is handy as it was pretty cold at night. Wifi is only available near the restaurant. Food was decent. Service of staff was great. They were all very friendly and made you feel welcomed and at home.

Loved this place! Shared a meal for the last time with our safari group - we were late arriving but the food was great! Beautiful decor! Staff were excellent and nothing too much trouble. Fantastic vege garden which supplied a good variety for dinner
