The price tells the story. We booked two rooms for an overnight accomodation on 23/03/2019 to catch an early flight the next morning. The rooms were not ready at 14:00, which is their official book-in time. One door key was stuck inside the door. I had to leave the room unlocked when going out for dinner.

Unfortunately I had booked at Ecotel OR Tambo. The curtains were dirty. The window latches were broken. There were not enough blankets. No coffee/tea in the room. Very noisy. Although I paid they beforehand they had no record thereof.

If you can, rather don't book here. Yes the price is cheap, but there are lots of guesthouses around OR Tambo where you can get much better service. Had to book for a group of 23 people. Slow response, one reservations person not knowing what the next is doing. absolutely shocking. will not book here again.

The price would tell you everything to be fair , the area is an industrial estate near the airport , well near a good 10 min drive away . The staff need training , the room needs a good clean and as for the shower well there was so much black mold I would suggest sandblasting . And it took 18 hours for me to finally get my change after check . Do yourselves a favour go somewhere else

So I needed a quick stop over and a place to get some shut eye. This place was very affordable and convenient. The staff were very helpful, just took forever to check-in. The supervisor on duty had a guest in the reception area until late in th night, the sound travels terribly and the doors are not very sound proof, then the evening staff moved into the kitchen, more banging and noise of laughter and happy conversation. Everything echoes down the passage and makes it very difficult for to sleep. Around 23:20 it went quiet, pity, I needed the rest. This would be a great place to stay if the staff were a little more courteous. Rooms were neat and tidy, the air-conditioned had burnt out. Don't think I'll stay here again...
