My wife and I did stay at this guest house in fourways a few weeks ago when we went to see a show at Monte Casino! The owner, Terry , is a true gentleman and the perfect host!The room was very comfortable and the stay over was relaxing!The room had DSTV and an ensuite bathroom! There is a swimming pool and enough place to have a nice barbecue! The bed was perfect for a good rest and the room was clean and beautiful! The breakfast was very good! I can recommend this guesthouse to anybody that want to relax and enjoy themselves!

Terry is a superb host! We felt very welcome the minute we stopped the car. Our rooms were functional and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and service was quick and friendly. Absolutely nothing wrong here!

This is a little gem. Have been coming through to this guesthouse since November last year. I got met by the owner, Terry, on arrival. Such a wonderful warm greeting. The WiFi is excellent as the breakfast. Old Umtali is located close to Montecasino and the Farmers Market, which is every Sunday. Being so close to these tourist attractions, you would think that it would be noisy, but it is in fact, the opposite.

Nice easy place to stay very helpful and friendly owner and staff weather you just want to sleep have breakfast and go out for the rest of the day or just want a day sat by the pool and relax this is the kind of place you should chose well done Terry will come again 😊

I have had the opportunity to stay at Old Umtali Guest House several times. And I will continue to choose it! The rooms are small, but have all you need in a BnB. The owner, Terry, is a wonderful host! Breakfast is always good. The communal areas are nice and inviting. Old Umtali is in a secure area. The parking area is small, but it works and I always feel safe there. The ladies could pay closer attention to their cleaning duties, but I am rather picky ;). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Old Umtali!
