This is a gem. Lovely pool and mature lush gardens replete with giant turtles. Rooms have bedroom, bath, living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. Two stories so it feels like home rather than a big hotel. Across from large shopping complex with groceries, pharmacies, shops, bars and restaurants. Gated and safe. Friendly staff. Amenities abound down to sunscreens at poolside. I’m always debating whether to bring sunscreen, after sun, etc on a business trip and here, the problem was solved for me.

This aparthotel style lodging is excellently located right next to Gautrain station and directly opposite the entire Rosebank shopping, dining and entertainment complex with tons of opportunities to keep you occupied. Everything that matters in Rosebank is close by as well. The place is calm with a decent sized pool and breakfast area and possibility for other meals (but there is so many options within walking distance). The rooms all have self catering facilities and it is handsomely decorated with comfort and very well maintained. Rooms are fresh and practical and tons of parking if you driving. It is a good choice if you want standard 4 star accommodation for good value rates. I do recommend!

The hotel is suitable on close proximity to the Rosebank Mall and Gautrain Station. The hotel has beautiful Courtyard rooms with private access to the rooms, no need to pass through reception every time to access your room. You're welcomed by a beautiful garden and tree right outside your room. So therapeutic

The service is non existant. No one answerred the "preferred" whatsapp messages or calls for 2 hours and there is no other way to contact reception as there are no phones in the room. The only place the aircon cools is 30 cm RIGHT in front of it and then it only works for 5 mins and swich off for 15. Then there is the mini fridge from 1950 that is producing so much heat you can cook your breakfast on it. One look inside the fridge, you can see the ice has completely coverred the freezer compartment, it clearly is not maintained. After finally getting hold of reception, the security guard was called to inspect the aircon. Could not get it working any better either. The room is uncomfortably hot in this hot weather. The espresso machine has not been cleaned in years and i am sure one will get violently ill if you had to use it. I was offerred another room upstairs, as it was safer??? to open the windows and get natural air in the room as the aircon is still as weak in all the rooms apparently.
I would not recomend Courtyard Rosebank to ANY person under any circumstances as it is uncomfortable, ill equipped, no maintenance staff and no working aircons(which ironically was the reason i booked this hotel as the other suites in the area had no aircon). Maybe City Lodge Group should renovate this aging hotel and get proper working equipment and give their guests some value equal to the room rate they charge.

I happily stayed at this hotel for about 3 years, but need to warn guests about the lax (non-existent) security at this hotel. While I was asleep (it was a Friday night), someone (or more than one) entered my room through the sliding door after midnight, and stole a diamond and topaz ring from next to my bed. It was one of a few items that I had placed on the side table, with my wristwatch, another dress ring, and a hearing aid. Only the valuable ring was gone. Guests need to make sure that the latch on the sliding door is working properly and at night, do not leave valuables next to your bed, but lock them in your suitcase (I don't trust the safety of the cupboard safe). There are no security cameras anywhere on the property and management did not seem to take my report seriously. There was no follow up.

It was a feel of home, very peaceful environment and very close to the rosebank mall where you can get access to anything you may need. Train station just opposite the hotel as well for easy transport. Excellent workers!! Will choose it over and over.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the flowers' perfume was intoxicating when we stayed in September. It is easy to cross the street to a big mall that has lots of places to eat outdoors, the African arts and crafts store, a huge Sunday market, and the start of the City Sightseeing hop on hop off bus. The manager kindly allowed a late checkout after my husband became ill on the last day of our visit, and he was able to rest on the outdoor patio of our room before we had to go to the airport. The kitchenette with microwave allows you to eat in your room, but we also took advantage of the bountiful breakfast.

The Courtyard in Rosebank is low rise complex, ideally located, with pleasant gardens, a small pool and a resident tortoise. The Courtyard’s secret ingredient is its staff. This is also true of the Courtyard in Sandton where I have also stayed. The staff is really unique.
They are the most helpful, courteous and pleasant group of people you could encounter. Nothing is too much trouble. You leave items in your room. They are kept safely for your return. Tumi, at the front desk is a special case. She really goes out of her way to make your visit one to remember. Management, catering, cleaning and security staff are all very professional and friendly.
You feel safe and well looked after at the Courtyard.

What's not to like? Clean, spacious, extra touches throughout... I wish all hotels could be like this. Great value too.
The 2 bedroom suite offers a double bed and 2 singles. Each room has an en suite, and there's a small lounge and kitchenette. The only downside is lack of charging points for phones in bedroom.
Friendly service 😀

Hello!
There is actually Uber in South Africa so we used that. We found it was cheaper and easier than the train :)
Yes, we checked out in the morning and spent the whole day shopping until we came back that evening to pick up our stuff. They kept it in the manager office.
The hotel does have family rooms. Contact them directly.
Would be perfect. Close to the gautrain and rosebank for shopping and eating
