I guess for the amount we paying the hotel is well located .Value for money and I really cannot complain or comment on improvements as it will will put cost up.the garden /parking area is also well taken care off.it is suitable for business and family visitors.

My stay at the hotel was excellent and its location was appropriate for my weekend activities. The food was excellent and nice. I would be coming back very soon in the near future. Just disappointed that the room upon my arrival was not perfectly clean.

The quality of the rooms were very poor and rooms are very cramped. The breakfast was extremely disappointing as there was a fat fly inside the muffin and the manager didn't even apologize. I will never stay here again and neither will my friends or family.

As he explained at the time, we can only sumimse that it came from the supplier given that our kitchen practices the highest level of hygience and as such, as numerous practices and equipment in place to maintain the highest level of hygiene possible. The breakfast was amazing .. I loved the bacon to be specific. The staff were not as friendly as I expected. The room was not as clean, the rooms had no refrigerator. The distance to eastgate made the stay fun as it is so close to the mall

This review follows on from a review I have written about another Johanneburg hotel. Despite having booked a hotel near the airport 11 months earlier we found ourselves moved to the StayEasy Eastgate, albeit we were told it was not of the same rating as the hotel we had been booked in. On arriving here it was blatantly clear that was the case and not where we wanted to be. The Assistant General Manager (Anthonie Swanepoel) patiently listened to what was pretty much a diatribe from my husband and myself. He showed loyalty to his company by stating that the group considered all their properties to offer the same quality but admitted that his hotel was indeed not the same standard. He then went out of his way to take time to listen to our complaint and then attempted to resolve it in a way which was satisfactory. So it was that 4 and a half hours after we had arrived in Johannesburg and solely to the thanks of Anthonie that we found ourselves in another hotel which did meet our requirements. It would have been so easy for him to shrug his shoulders and say that he could do nothing. He did not, he was faced with a dilemma and he solved it. As my husband put it Anthonie was a person who may have been on a lower rung of the management ladder of the hotel group but he was the one whose service and customer care shone and deserved nothing but praise.…
