Excellant, SAFE, spacious property with quality rooms, great staff and excellant meals
Ample safe parking. TV's are of good size, programs broad cover-- VERY quiet at night.
EARLY breakfast also tops as business travellersoften leave at 6- to 6:45 to miss Johannesburg traffic congestion.

Excellent rooms, and service, rooms were bit cold on arrival, maybe TV Channels needs to be improved, add more channels. But besides that, rooms were big and excellent. I will certainly come back to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Little Tuscany. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Hotel room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was an absolute treat, best bacon I have had in ages. I would definitely recommend this venue. Please take some time to notice the gorgeous, old trees on the property, so majestic.

The rooms are awesome and the countryside settings make you forget you are in a city. The food in the restaurant is exceptional and the staff are amazing! Ideal for business travel and medium to small conferencing. Will be back soon!

A good hotel with good facilities and clean & comfortable place. Maybe I went off season as the service was lacking and the breakfast did not commensurate to the good facilities.Anyway, the price was reasonable.

For someone like me who is Johannesburg-phobic, I find the hustle and bustle mentally exhausting.

I would like to submit to changing my mind, since my arrival for what is a short work stay, was a good one!

The hotel is not too far from the OR Tambo, and I must say the walls are a dreamy peachy colour I find non-robotic and quite startlingly attractive.

The practical stuff was sufficient, tidy and neat room, adequate amenities, free WiFi (helpful), an in-house restaurant, which eliminates all the fuss of arranging that would be distracting for a work related trip.

The staff are all friendly, with an efficient laundry service.

For a work trip this place gets an A-grade from me, I am not sure about it being a place for leisure, unless you're one that is here for the concrete jungle of shopping malls.

Hope this helps.

Just spent 9 days at the fabulous Little Tuscany Hotel in Johannesburg.

If you are looking for a friendly welcoming environment during a business trip, this hotel will be difficult to top.

Every member of staff in every department, made you feel special and went out of their way to make my trip safe and enjoyable.

Look forward to being a guest again on my next visit to Johannesburg.

My wife, 12 month old son and I stayed here at the end of January 2014 upon the suggestion of family. All I can say is that this place is great. May be a bit out of the way but that is great..quiet location and easily accessible to all you need. The values that the staff uphold are excellent and without singling out one particular member of staff I would say that without exception all of the staff are friendly and helpful.

The only negative comment that I have is that the rooms can be dark as they do not have net curtailing behind the standard issue hotel curtaining which means that you either have to keep the curtains closed to avoid being seen from the outside leaving you in the dark or risk the fact that you have no privacy when the main curtains are open. This is a great pity given the fact that many rooms face the pool area and lovely garden and you never get to see that during the day from the room.....because you gave to keep the curtains closed!

The owners are great and this place deserves a mention. We will be back in 2015. For sure!

Dear Sir We are pleased that you had a comfortable stay with us. Regarding the sheer curtains that you are referring to, thank you for your feedback. It would indeed be a good idea to have sheer curtains for our rooms considering the spectacular view that our rooms have. I have forwarded your feedback to the Owners and we will be looking into it. We look forward to your next stay with us. Thank you. Regards Simon

It was my third time visiting this hotel and I will come back again. Very friendly staff and rooms have always been spot on. The food in the restaurant is quite nice so no need to go out at night if you prefer not to. The surrounding premises is beautiful and a lot of effort is made to keep it well maintained. You actually feel like being in Tuscany!

We only stayed for one night, so it was a quick stop over, the gardens are lovely, the rooms are large and very comfortable and the staff are very pleasant.
We will be back on our next trip to Johannesburg.
The only down side is that you have to keep the curtains drawn otherwise people can see into the room if you are walking around, maybe a one way film would be an option.
