I wasn't fully happy with the state of the hotel. I was there a couple of years back and always wanted to return. Must say I was disappointed at how much the standard dropped. The staff service was outstanding. Nandipha and Mimi went an extra mile for me when everything kept going wrong. I really appreciate how they dealt with my complaints.

I had a great time staying at ReefHotel🪸 The hotel is well managed with a pomp & proper management team(some of whom I got to meet and chat with). Response time to complaint was next to none. I enjoyed my meals at the canteen (ground floor). Proximity to wherever I wanted to go was 💯. Great location, this hotel. My room on the 7th floor was a beautiful one, with a very lovely view. I’ll advise the installation of proper heaters in the room, and continuous training of staff to uphold quality service currently obtainable. The Elevate roof top bar could become unbearable noisy, but is sure a fun place to be. I also advise improved security checks on who goes in and goes out. Conclusively, I recommend this hotel for you, don’t go nowhere else. Cheers!

Nice hotel with a reasonable price. The internet was OK and the staff always willing to assist. There were constant power cuts and the generator was making a lot of noise even at the 8th floor. Breakfast was nice.

I think The Reef Hotel can do better. But on overall, my rating stands. Staff is ok, food can be better, please work on that. Leave a room for smokers, I had to travel from my room to the stairs if I wanted to smoke, or ground floor just to accommodate people not smoking, mind you it was cold at night,

The place is very beautiful and stylish. The staff is very friendly and provides assistance when one needs it. I love the welcoming package in the rooms. My only concern is the parking area. It is very small.

Nice clean hotel, big room, great bed and view into the town, at least from where I was. Hotel is handily in the centre of town so you can get anywhere in Joburg. Good food at the bar and in the adjoining restaurant. Friendly staff. GOOD STAY.

The central location of the hotel makes it ideal and easily accessible. It is close to all the areas for interest in Joburg. The roof top bar and lounge offers the best experience and view of Joburg during the day and at night.

If you're a Marshaltown town person and like staying there when in Joburg, like I am, then Reef Hotel is the place to be. Good value for money and good staff service. Safe when indoors and clean. Restaurant and bar is also good and convenient.
