I cannot express in words about how amazing our host was! I have never had such attention to our satisfaction than I have experienced here! The breakfasts were awesome. Our rooms were large, spacious, and comfortable. The grounds of the Guesthouse were clean and beautiful. I will not stay anywhere else if I am in the area. It was absolutely terrific! I cannot recommend any higher. Terrific!

I spent one night at 47 on Preston and was very impressed. Safe location, friendly staff and large room and bathroom. My room was very spacious with a full bathroom with a shower and bath. There is 24 hour access and it is very secure. The breakfast has a good selection. Would definitely recommend for good value.

Situated in a security area and the venue is guarded 24/7 including electrified fencing. Rooms are reasonably sized and various sizes are available. TV has a restricted bouquet and wifi is good. Coffee and tea facilities are provided as well as a small fridge. There is no microwave. Air conditioning and warming is good. A halaal breakfast is included, but it is basic. Parking is onsite and secure.

My family spent three nights here after a few weeks on safari. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were at a home away from home. From the linens and the bathtub to the great food, it was all wonderful. But the best part was Rosanna, the wonderful woman who runs it all.
This will be our go-to whenever we are in Joburg.

Awesome place with an awesome host Rosanna looking after you. She makes the BEST CURRY in Town so order well in advance for supper. Descent breakfast and great facilities. Clean and fantastic spacious rooms with all the basics to chill or work in the room with good WiFi. Safe and secure with 24/7 security guard & electrified fencing.

Situated near Norwood, within easy reach of Houghton, Highlands North, Marble Arch and Sandton. Security is excellent with a 24/7 guard on the premises. Rooms are large by hotel standards with efficient air conditioning and all necessary equipment with the exception of a Hair Drier. Consumables are replenished daily which is appreciated. The bathroom is complete with great shower. There is a pool on the property which was still clean in winter. The property is equipped with a generator to avoid the outages when Eskom cannot get its act together. A Halaal Breakfast is provided which is satisfactory. As it is a B&B and not a self catering establishment there are no cooking or eating facilities in the room, but we were told that meals can be pre-ordered in the dining area.
