Set in the beautiful waterfall equestrian estate, a five-star destination, Riboville boutique hotel, flaunting a picturesque castellan barn architecture, overlooking the greenest polo field, makes for a scenic spot to enjoy a sundowner just before delighting your palate with a delicious meal prepared by their uber talented chef. I opted for the springbok carpaccio roses as a starter and the duck as a main, and the flavours and textures were perfection. Mike ordered the sushi, which was so fresh and delicious, it melted in your mouth. Dessert, was too good to turn down, every calorie Riboville goes beyond being just a restaurant and boutique hotel, as they provide a glimpse into the quintessential lifestyle, boasting an exclusive range of premium local and international wine collections, and leaving you in the very capable hands of Brian, their sommelier, who is there to guide you when looking for the perfect wine to pair with your meal. And if you have a keen eye for art, the Riboville Art Gallery exhibits works from the continents emerging contemporary artists and designers. All in all our experience at Riboville was elegant and relaxing, and we were well taken care of by their very efficient staff.

It was a very nice stay. Very big and spacious rooms and well done to the chef and his team, the food was really good. The staff are very friendly. We have been here on previous occasions. Will definately return again and hopefully be able to stay a bit longer.

Apart from the restaurant being overpriced, the stay here was amazing. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, rooms are spotless and decor is great. We went out for dinner and when we got back to our room we were left with chocolate and sherry as a little treat, that was awesome...

Overall service was excellent and the establishment is always well kept In future though, when we are checking in, please ensure that you advise that your room service is only up until 22:00 - that was a disappointment when I placed an order after 22:00 as we had not been advised

My definition of a boutique hotel was always "half the room at twice the price" well certainly not here! The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms to be envious of and the entire experience fantastic. Hard to believe you are still in Johannesburg. Get away from the city center without having to get away m
