Set in the beautiful waterfall equestrian estate, a five-star destination, Riboville boutique hotel, flaunting a picturesque castellan barn architecture, overlooking the greenest polo field, makes for a scenic spot to enjoy a sundowner just before delighting your palate with a delicious meal prepared by their uber talented chef.
I opted for the springbok carpaccio roses as a starter and the duck as a main, and the flavours and textures were perfection. Mike ordered the sushi, which was so fresh and delicious, it melted in your mouth. Dessert, was too good to turn down, every calorie
Riboville goes beyond being just a restaurant and boutique hotel, as they provide a glimpse into the quintessential lifestyle, boasting an exclusive range of premium local and international wine collections, and leaving you in the very capable hands of Brian, their sommelier, who is there to guide you when looking for the perfect wine to pair with your meal.

And if you have a keen eye for art, the Riboville Art Gallery exhibits works from the continents emerging contemporary artists and designers.

All in all our experience at Riboville was elegant and relaxing, and we were well taken care of by their very efficient staff.

Its been around 2 years since i last visited this establishment, back then it was under the 'Tinswalo' banner. Not much has changed in the fact that service is still excellent, staff friendly and food an absolute treat. The rooms are massive and very well equipped, the TV whoever could be bigger, but then the whole layout of the room would have to be changed. Special thanks tro Qaasim and Nizaar for makingour stay extra special.

Staying at Ribiville one easily forgets that you are in busy Midrand. I've had the pleasure of staying in rooms facing the polo fields as well as the dam, both offer beautiful views. Rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. Only suggesting i would recommend is an update to electric fixtures to accommodate devide charging, most hotels have USB charging points which are not available as yet in the rooms.

Good day gugzogunz, Thank you for the feedback. We are happy you enjoyed your stay. The rooms actually have a USB port right next to bed (Put there to conveniently charge your phone). But this was not pointed out to you. We have addressed the training on the matter to ensure we point it out to our guest when they do a room orientation. We look forward to welcome you back again very soon.

Stunning setting, good service, secure parking, good buffet with variety, great live jazz band. Sparkiling wine was very expensive and corkage not allowed.
Overall value for money and the venue is fit for a King.

The look, setting and ambience is simply stunning as is the interior, artwork, gardens and views. Certainly looks world class. Experience with reception and other staff throughout the stay was really great. When staying in a five star establishment though, the room really has to be the highlight and it wasn't. We got moved because of a minor issue but both rooms are really in need of some TLC. The curtains are coming off the rails, don't close properly. The wood furniture is really dated. Electrical plugs are in silly places and we had two switches which were not functioning. Our coffee machine was leaking water. The door in the one room could not close and had to be latched with an ugly latch. Baths are really small in comparison to a very large and comfy shower. External window frames are buckled and windows struggle to close. In summary, fantastic setting, views and ambience but the rooms need some serious upgrades and ongoing TLC. Staff were great!

Apart from the restaurant being overpriced, the stay here was amazing. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, rooms are spotless and decor is great. We went out for dinner and when we got back to our room we were left with chocolate and sherry as a little treat, that was awesome...

My definition of a boutique hotel was always "half the room at twice the price" well certainly not here!

The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms to be envious of and the entire experience fantastic. Hard to believe you are still in Johannesburg. Get away from the city center without having to get away m

This was my 3rd time in this hotel! Its so calm and quiet and the surrounding area magnificent. Rooms are huge but in need of renovation. The restaurant offers excellent food but service is poor. The new management is very capable and really trying to bring the place up to standard!
