Right downtown in the middle of all the fun, this is a beautiful hostel with great options for different styles of travelers. I actually stayed here for a couple of months. I started out in a private room which was gorgeous and eventuallly moved into the dormitory style rooms which were never anything but fun and convenient. The staff was welcoming and kind and it was a fantastic experience Ill never forget

The hostel was ok, they have a good location and some stores nearby. Breakfast was included and was really good. Staff were helpful. The only problem was that our triple room was really dark and the bathroom too. I would recommend this hostel if you are on a budget

My access card stopped working on the first day and I needed to get a new one but the reception staff accompanied me to test the new card at my room. I felt unsafe the entire time I was staying. Someone entered my private room while I was at breakfast on the first day and had dug through my things. The manager and staff's only response was to say that they had security measures in place... which is no comfort if someone had already entered my room. The breakfast was small and on some days it was absolutely disgusting (smelt rotten and the bread was stale and mouldy). The room was in great condition and the facilities in general were well kept and working. The staff were friendly and polite.

These guys are different. The hotel offers both backpackers/hostel grade accommodation and hotel/b&b grade accommodation which is quite unique in this region. The facilities are impressive. The location is central and good if you are doing business in the area but the downtown feel might make some travelers uncomfortable. The biggest selling point for these guys is the service. Absolutely everyone at the hotel is committed to providing quality service and a pleasant guest experience. I sincerely hope that they keep it up because right now they are the gold standard for customer service.

One of the best hostels I've ever been. Excellent structure. Staff very friendly. I want to thank "Life", who helped me a lot during my staying. The bedroom and bathroom very well cleaned. They always arrange some activities. Nice facilities.

I stayed in the private room with attached bathroom for 1 night during February 2020. The room & bathroom is spacious, clean, new, modern & excellent value for money! The bathroom heater works well and water pressure is strong. They even provide toiletries in the bathroom. & Thankfully the AC works well too as it can get really warm in the summer. There is also an electric kettle and complimentary tea & coffee in the room. It felt more like a boutique hotel rather then a hostel. There are also plenty of common areas to hang out. The inclusive breakfast & cappuccino was very delicious. The staff were really nice & friendly too. If you happened to be staying on a Saturday, definitely visit the Neighbourgoods Market in Braamfontein (close at 4PM) for great food & live music! It is only 5 minutes walk away from the hostel. NOTE: There is no bathroom/toilet door, it is an open concept so it may get awkward if you are sharing the room with someone else!

Very satisfied. It ticked all the boxes. And helpful staff. Plus there’s an excellent restaurant just a few meters away avoiding any worries about being ‘out after dark’. Also close to Constitution Hill for the Sightseeing Bus, and bus station for Greyhound, etc.

The people were great, all very smiling and helpful. The room was great, as was the location! I arrived before the scheduled time and they moved the room so I could get settled. The air conditioner was unfortunately not working, as was the TV. Would go back to stay again.

The prices are great, the staff is very friendly, the hotel itself is clean and the rooms are great although the TV only had 7 channels, with 4 being useless. Some of the problems I encountered included the safe in the room being locked and not getting someone to come and fix it even after logging a request. At some times the key card couldn't open the door so I had to go down to reception to get it fixed which was definitely not cool from the top floor. Breakfast was great.
