Celeste made me feel at home. In this regard she was greatly aided by the lovely garden. Huge bath and even bigger shower. Very close to the airport, whole area access controled and off street parking

Had a lovely time. Quiet garden. Didn’t eat breakfast due to time frames. Owner brought lekke coffee in the morning and tea in the evening. Celesté had my bath ready when I arrived. It's pet friendly.

Celeste and her team - who are actually her family - offer warm and flexible hospitality in a guesthouse that is situated conveniently close to OR Tambo International without the intrusion, however, of airborne or other traffic. Rooms are set around a lush, paradise-like garden where meals - including a delicious, originally unplanned breakfast, in my case - can be enjoyed. Suites are private, elegant, comfortable with the option of a welcome bubble bath. The availability of rooms by the hour gives one an enticing choice between staying for days or relaxing for a few untroubled hours. Home meets hideaway.

The Uber ride from the OR Tambo Airport to the Breena Guesthouse was a short 10-minute drive. This place is funky, comfortable, and plant-luscious. It has a homey feeling. It’s certainly not a traditional hotel environment. The room was very clean, cozy, and spacious for the two of us. The rooms were situated so that each entrance to a room was separate as if the whole facility were akin to a hacienda. Our room was on the end and had a queen and twin beds. There were smallish closet areas behind the queen bed headboard, a long built-in desk with a chair, shelving units to hold our stuff, and a sofa. The sofa faced away from the TV set, however, the queen bed faced toward the TV. There were plenty of movie options on TV. I don’t believe there was air conditioning, at least none that I saw. We didn’t need it. The rooms are among thick, luscious plants and trees that offered wonderful shade, atmosphere, and privacy. The rooms are very clean, rather funky, included plenty of towels, soaps, shampoos, instant coffee setup, a mini-frig, and lots of room for working or watching TV. The shower had perfect water pressure and temperature. The best part about the room was its cleanliness while the least desirable thing about the room was the toilet as it offers limited privacy. There was a thin curtain that separated the tub, shower, sink, and toilet area. Just outside the door to the room is an outdoor garden table and chairs, perfect for relaxing and soaking in nature. While there we met other travelers/guests in the common area. Many of them were regular guests. The place is relaxing, comfortable and offers community and like-minded people. If you wanted to be alone, that was available, too. The owners, Celeste and Peter, are immensely informative (ask them anything about local sightseeing places and how to get to those places). They were also sweet, funny, and interesting to talk to and listen to. One day they offered a “braai” (barbecue), which was highly tasty and fun to sit with the other guests. The only thing that was unexpected and a disappointment was with the pool. Because the pool had been converted to a koi pond, but previous guests had posted pool photos that Breena BnB cannot remove from commercial websites. My husband loves swimming. I recommend Breena BnB – the people were awesome, the price was more than reasonable, the food excellent, and the grounds were exquisite.

Spoke to Celeste on the phone, told her that I was only in town for a few hours prior to flying out again so i just needed a room for a few hours to freshen up. She was very accommodating and suggested I take the room at an hourly rate an in this way i can spend as much time as I wanted didn't want to without spending the night. the longer you stay the cheaper it gets, which suited me perfectly. I was told where to go in the estate and just to let her know when i'm on my way.. to my surprise i arrived at my room with a nice hot bath ready for us to enjoy, my girlfriend and I took the opportunity to spend some quality time in the bath (big enough for the both of us!!) after the relaxing time got into our robes just chilling watching some tv and sipping some nice wine (provided by the venue on your request) afterwards we where refreshed and ready for the next adventure. The room was a nice side, bed comfortable, various channels to choose from, and the bathroom is beautifully laid out, clean with ample hot water! Thanks to Celeste and her husband for making our trip so awesome.
