The Houghton family took over in 2015 and have put every ounce of their hearts into the establishment and the daily running thereof. This luxurious guesthouse is centrally located in a tree-lined avenue, in the suburb of Park West in Bloemfontein, and boasts beautifully well-maintained grounds with lush rose filled gardens. Savour the relaxing atmosphere while you enjoy a sherry in winter, read a book on the veranda, take a swim in the pool in summer, or take a stroll in the garden and appreciate the abundant bird life. Lemon and Lime has 12 spacious, stylish, non-smoking rooms. All with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, DStv and personal safes. The facilities on our premises included free Wi-Fi, a pool area, secure on-site parking with a night guard and more. Lemon and Lime is ideal for both business and leisure guests alike. Convenient and nice stopover between CT and Jhb. Everyone friendly and helpful other than the lady serving breakfast. When we said my mom had injured herself and couldn't get to the breakfast room and we'd like to take breakfast to her and eat at the table outside her room, she became very rude and hostile, saying we would be seriously compromising the quality of the establishment. Really???!!! Not sure if she wanted us to drag my mom with a fractured sacrum to the breakfast room in order to retain quality. It was rude and off-putting.

I do apologize for the misunderstanding with the lady who is in charge of breakfast, I believe she just wanted to ensure you the best breakfast possible as the outside tables had not yet been cleaned and that we would not be able to serve all the different buffet options to you outside. I am glad you were able to enjoy your breakfast on the patio with your mother. We do hope your mothers is doing better and that we see host you again in the near future.

The Room had an awful smell and made it hard to sleep. Dinner meal was not worth what was paid for. overall service was horrible, was made to feel like they are doing me a favor :-( Just don't put yourself through the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay; the staff was friendly and the best of all the food was tasty with huge portions. Also, very safe with a guard all night. They also have solar so no load shedding. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

This was a lovely place to stay at in a good area. The standard of service overall was excellent, from the pleasant and helpful lady at the reception desk to staff in the dining area. I enjoyed my stay. The room were tidy, the stay was comfortable and the staff is friendly. I like that they are not affected by loadshedding, it made easy for me to work without distractions after hours. I would highly recommend the place to anyone for any purposes.

Tranquil place, convenient location, loadshedding proof, perfect. Worth exploring repeatedly. The reassurances of making sure in your in a safe and peaceful place is prevalent from the hospitality and security personnel. Will certainly be repeating my stay when in Bloemfontein.
