Krige Lodge B&B is a guesthouse situated just outside Bloemfontein. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the country, but also reach restaurants and shops in just a few minutes. We have five comfortable rooms with air conditioning, fridge, coffee & tee facilities, on-suite bathrooms and TV with selected DSTV channels. Wifi is available in all rooms. In the summer the sky blue swimming pool is an excellent way to cool down after a busy day. When you stay at Krige Krige Lodge B&B you can look forward to a farm style breakfast to get you set up for the day. We make personal service to our guests a priority.

plus side:
very friendly and helpful hosts in a modern spacious family home10 minutes from central Bloemfontein, though there are a few eateries within 5 minutes drive. This really is like a lodge with lots of space around it and plenty of parking, a nice pool area, guest relaxation room with flat screen TV and honesty bar (including a good range of whiskies and the landlord's own twist on Amarula!) even several horses. Rooms with air con cleaned and tidied daily and the WIFI actually works! No mean feat in South Africa....Don't know why it isn't booked out, must be the best kept secret in Bloemfontein and wouldn't hestiate to recommend.

no hairdryer is the only thing I can think of

The address on booking.com is not correct and was not disclosed when in contact.We were not greeted by the owner or offered any refreshments on arrival.Room was OK but definitely not worth the price.Rooms was not properly prepared.

Stayed at Krige Lodge for 18 days - and enjoyed every one of them! Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Enjoyed every breakfast on the porch, very often the evenings as well. Loved the view, the tranquility and the option of having a "cool down" in the swimming pool.
The room was spacious, airconditioned, well furnitured - and perfect running wifi - and again, I just loved the porch. Definately the lodge I will book again, given the chance to come back in the area.
