I have tried a few B&B's in Bloemfontein most of which are pleasant. I was lucky enough to find Franklin View Guest House and have since stayed there 3 times. they have 12 amazing comfortable rooms (I know this because I recently booked out 9 rooms to accommodate my customers on the recent braai day promotion). The view from the dinning room is awesome and the staff and Gustav are superb. I wont stay anywhere else in Bloemfontein. I highly recommend Franklin View and you wont be disappointed.

Excellent in every way, except the "open" toilet. Maybe, I am old school, but I prefer a toilet with a door. All the rest are really good. Exceptional view. Very and helpful in every way. Will definitely recommend Franklin View Guest House.

It is a safe area in Bloemfontein with camera everywhere, so walking is not a problem. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The room was super quiet with a stunning view for sunrise and sunset

We enjoyed our stay at Franklin. The reception was good, and they went the extra mile to accommodate all the family together. Breakfast was very good., rooms clean. The baths towels can be upgraded, they were small and a bit old.

I travel extensively throughout the year, generally for work purposes, and this must be the finest establishment in Central South Africa, situated amongst the rocky outcrops in Bloemfontein, this gem with it's incredible owners & management team is something special. With its largely off the grid Solar Powered operation, with Wi-Fi, fine spacious rooms including a variety of pillows to accommodate the fussiest sleepers this guest house is a MUST if you're visiting the area. As a regular traveler I see a lot of quest houses and Franklin View is one of the Best I have ever been to. I cannot fault them on one single thing. Rooms are stunning, Breakfast delicious Will not stay anywhere else again in Bloemfontein.
