Sandals guest house was the best choice and I would definitely go back. I was celebrating my birthday with a friend who also had her birthday in March and we randomly chose a town we never visited before, coming all the way from Joburg. Lusanda welcomed us with warm hands and made us feel at home, she was very helpful and also referred us to nice places as we knew nothing abt St Francis Bay. She was just amazing and professional. The room was spotless clean and we felt comfortable, as the world is facing the pandemic challenges we were reluctant to go on vacation but now we've got no regrets because they adhered to safe precautions and we were all safe. Breakfast was out of this world, let me say everything about the place was beyond expectation. And I'll say again, Lusanda was the best host!…
The location is perfect, the bed was comfortable, the view from the balcony is spectacular, the breakfast was superbly tasty. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. (The DSTV was not working, but was not important for us) The tub in the bathroom was a little disappointing, for the Honeymoon Suit.
Had a super fabulous weekend at sandals guesthouse I'll definitely go back very beautiful place👌 awesome staff we had a very stunning weekend😊 thank yall so much 🙏 IL definitely recommend yal too my friends and family.. keep up the good work ❤️
Lovely, homely one night stay in this gorgeous home away from home. Close enough to walk to the beach to steal a sneaky swim in the sea over the lockdown (and got bust with a R1000 fine!!!) Staff great, breakfast fantastic.
Hailing from California, this trip was my second time to South Africa. This time around, my boyfriend and I took a 10-day road trip from Cape Town up the Eastern Cape, through to St. Francis - a dreamy little hamlet of a town, beautifully organized along its waterfront and upmarket canals with incredibly fun surf, great boutiques, lovely restaurants, some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and one amazing guesthouse I can’t speak more highly about. We stayed at Sandal’s Guesthouse for three nights. The location was epic! It’s situated a couple blocks from a fantastic surf spot, a short distance from Jeffrey’s Bay (which was awesome to visit, but I wouldn’t want to stay there), served as a fantastic location to venture out a little further on Safari - we went to Addo Elephant Park, amongst a myriad of other incredible nature-based and cultural activities. The guesthouse is designed in a super cute, naturally chic, maybe even a little African/Island boho style with seven or eight guest rooms, so it’s very comfortable, quiet and the easy energy is super inviting. The outdoor pool area is your quintessential chillax spot - think lush garden with a beautifully manicured lawn at poolside on a chaise with a Savanna (yummy SA cider beer) - if that’s your thing. The hotel staff did an incredible job adding little details like the flowers in the room, the presentation of breakfast, and overall making us feel very comfortable and safe during these times of COVID-19. All in all, if you’re road tripping through the Eastern Cape, you can not miss St. Francis and the Sandals Guesthouse! I can’t wait to go back!!…
