I have stayed a Mother Goose three times now, and feel it is long overdue that say something about this magnificent B&B run by Deline and Walter. The accommodation is in wooden chalets with everything you need right there in the spacious and spotless chalet. Breakfast is huge big variety, freshly baked bread, brewed coffee served in several courses. The hosts Deline and Walter go out of their way to make every visit a special occasion - really, I just can’t say enough about this wonderful place and these wonderful hosts.

We have been few days ago the 5th time at Mother Goose since 2014. That tells much. We feel at home when Deline and Walter welcome us on his farm and wonderful wooden chalet. Clean, quiet and a wonderful view over the farmland has made our stay always special. Walter has repaired my golftrolly twice (2 different subjects) and at least the frame of my wifes glases. All his work is perfect --as farmers have to do one's own cooking!! We honour this with our "coming back".

What an amazing place. We were impressed from the minute we arrived. Our room was fantastic - views were stunning - breakfasts delicious. Thank you Walter and Deline for a memorable time in PE. Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. We spent three nights here - wished it was longer. We will definitely return when we come over to PE again.

Spotless log cabin accommodation. Tranquil setting with great view of the valley. Friendly welcoming owners serve a full English breakfast with flexible times which suited us. Recommended for people wanting peace and quiet.

We have to thank the Passets for an absolutely wonderful stay in Port Elizabeth. From the comfort of the chalet and all the little extras to make it special to the warmth of their hospitality. To wake up and have our coffee on the deck overlooking the valley was so good for our souls. We want to thank you and assure you that when we visit Port Elizabeth again we will definitely be staying at Mother Goose

Having spent a night at Mother Goose a few years ago on a road trip, we wanted to make a return visit! Looking forward to a quality-time end-of-year coastal family break we booked for just over a week before Xmas 2016. It was just as we remembered and Walter and Deline are wonderful hosts! Breakfasts are a real treat and you definitely begin your day with a full tummy! Beautiful Blue Horizon Bay beach is a short trip away - scenic, clean, good swimming, quiet, even in December. Choice of country restaurants and a new shopping centre with additional restaurants, movies, etc within easy reach by car. We spent a lovely day at Addo with a memorable elephant experience from the underground hide. Short and easy trip from airport and back into PE central if you would like to do some sightseeing. We also spent a lovely day in Jeffreys Bay which again is not too far and you take the scenic route recommended by Walter. We unfortunately ran out of time for Port Alfred and environs as well as Cape St Francis but that's for next time! Our teenage children were very sorry to leave and wished we didn't have to rush home for family Xmas! Anne-Marie Hoskin, Johannesburg.

We stayed at the Mother Goose B&B for only 2 nights. But the impression will last a live time. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here! The chalets are comfortable and beautiful. The views are great and the hosts, Walter and Deline, are just wonderful. We enjoyed there company very much and they'll do about everything to make you feel at home. We'll definitely come back here in the future. Jaap and Rienke

Mother Goose is beautifully situated in a tranquil rural setting easily accessible to venues and restaurants and we were delighted with our hosts, Walter and Deline who were wonderfully welcoming and attentitive to all our needs. Attention to detail in the beautiful log cabins is incomparable! Electric blankets! Iron and ironing board! (Who gives you that!) and with the array of teas and coffees... a tin of scrummy biscuits! Well worth the visit and well done Walter and Deline, we left feeling that they were already our friends! Lyn & Dave

Mother Goose is the right name for this place. Walter and Deline take you under their wing from the moment you step out from your car till you wave goodbye. Your happiness and comfort is their top priority, and you can relax and enjoy the comfort of your room, the beauty of the countryside, a good breakfast, interesting conversation, and share a glass of wine in the evening with them if you wish. It will be a pleasure to go back there again. Valerie

Are there actual words in the dictionary to describe such an amazing place?Breathtaking views, clear blue skies, peace , tranquility and so serene.. We got married 30/04/2016 and discovered this amazing country side place of absolute seclusion and paradise.. What a warm welcome from two very special hosts, Walter ( who makes delicious homemade bread) and his lovely wife Dalene that was so warm and caring like a real mom away from home. Welcomed us with such love and joy and made our honeymoon night extra special by decorating the room with roses and candles all over in a Marilyn Monroe room..Champers in the fridge.. You don't have to worry about getting cold in this love country side venue.. there are awesome heated blankies that made us super cosy and indoor heating... Then waking up to the most magnificent views , green pastures, sound of the birds in the morning, the little duck pond only to mention a few things Free wifi included to for those of you not on honeymoon lol and want to browse.cupboard space in the rooms too... Cookies and Coffee in the room, microwave, nicely sized bathroom.. Just spectacular wooden cabin in between the greenery.. For those of you, like us that enjoy the peace and quiet and beauty of Gods nature, there is not even a t.v to disturb you. Scrumptious home farm style breakfast.. YUMmmmy..... This is a place my hubby and I will visit over and over and over again.... You can definitely not come to the Eastern Cape and not spoil yourself with this beautiful gift of nature bnb.. and the cherry on the top without a doubt are the hosts... They are truly two gems who celebrate their 41st wedding anniversary today.. what an inspiration... I could go on and on and on to write about this stunning place.. wow breathtaking once again and just delectable. Thank you Walter and Deline for a memorable stay.. See you soon Your P.E / Cape Town Newly Weds Joylene and Stephen Meyer
