Entering Nova Boutique Hotel is like entering an unexpectedly thoughtful and detailed haven. Kevin and Gayle planned, dreamed and built Nova throughout a period of 5 years and opened it in 2019 - a few months before Covid19 caused a world-wide lockdown. Each room is named after a constellation in the southern hemisphere and the same constellation can be found twinkling above you as you lay down to rest - creating the perfect starry night to whisk you off to dreamland. In less than 5 minutes from the airport, you are carried off to explore a star! It is a delight to notice the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The universal theme can be found around every corner. Aesthetically pleasing and surprisingly practical, the design and decor inspire peace and calm through its modern and clean approach. It is easy to see that great effort was put toward the needs of weary travelers. From the moment you enter the door, you are greeted and served with friendliness and professionalism. The hotel exclusively provides the services of their restaurant and bar to their guests - catered to your individual need. From preferred meal times to freshly grown produce, you’re sure to feel well taken care of with the freedom to just relax and be. A definite first choice when visiting the area!

This is a delightful property not far from Humewood. The hosts Kevin and Gayle were absolutely fantastic! There was nothing these they were not able to assist with ... Firstly the property is quite new.. so everything looks and smells good. The decor is very modern and you can see no expense was spared to curate the fittings and furniture. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous - again lots of light in the rooms and basic amenities such as coffee station, mini bar, gowns and slippers. The cupboards are quite spacious and have interior lighting. The bathroom is also well decorated- lovely teardrop shaped mirrors with ahis and hers basin! Brand new fluffy towels, facecloths and they also have some nice toiletries to use while you are there. Breakfast was also good, fruit plates, cheese platters and the usual breakfast goodies but again the hostess was able to offer alternatives to pork. I thoroughly enjoyed the egg Benedict. We ate until we couldn’t eat anymore. There’s a pamper room housed inside the hotel and there’s also a brand new built spa linked to to property. Overall I would absolutely recommend this property - there’s nothing you won’t like. I would absolutely recommend the hotel ... if you are looking for absolute luxury but not in one of these franchised hotels this is the place to go. The warmth and helpfulness of the owners and staff is unparalleled!

Brand new property a couple of blocks from the airport, and centrally located in Walmer. Space theme throughout the hotel, which works well. Owners are on the floor attending to guest needs throughout the stay. Nice breakfast. Room was spacious, modern and very clean. Would highly recommend, special thanks to Kevin.

We needed 2 nights in Port Elizabeth while driving through to Cape Town and opted for Nova Boutique Hotel. Well, from the moment we arrived the owners were welcoming us and we felt immediately at ease. Arriving in the lounge is so relaxing, spacious, bright, chill music and wow, just what you need after a long trip! The room was huge, all amenities are at place, from the Espresso machine, lemon for the water, adaptors, Netflix button on the TV! and the nice high pressured rainshower. The room was as it was never used, nice colours and a room you just do not want to leave... Breakfast was incredible and delicious... Go for the Eggs Benedict, you will not regret - I took them 2 morning in a row! ;-). Location is brilliant - 2 minutes from the airport and shops and restaurants within 5-10 minutes. They are opening a pool and spa soon, so cannot wait to make plans to visit PE again!
