This lovely Cottage is well located, in a street parallel to the Nelson Mandela waterfront which allows to walk there for a pleasant walk (after dark, take a taxi). The welcome is very nice from Junita, the property owner and Michael who provides the night reception. It is a real haven of peace. My room is very spacious , decorated with taste and refinement. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower. The wifi works very well despite the power cuts that the region suffers. Breakfast is just exceptional and worthy of a Luxury Pension, one of the best I have ever had on my many Trips: delicious musli with Cottage Cheese and Fresh Fruit, good coffee with Piston Coffee Maker and Blessed Eggs. I recommend going with your eyes closed.

This is my second time to stay here. The room was fully equipped (w/ coffee, milk, microwave, refrigerator). The shower water flow is good too. They provide the basic shampoo/body soap and lotion. The bed and pillows are very comfortable too. There’s a 2-hour load shedding at night but the wifi still works. They also provided an emergency lamp. I had a very good breakfast in a very beautiful dining area with a view of huge ficus trees. The breakfast is tailored made, just like a breakfast cooked at home. The egg benedict is so good! However, the breakfast during weekend starts at 8am so you can’t have it if you have an early tour or flight. The lounge/common areas are so beautiful and relaxing. There’s also a swimming pool and braai. It’s too near to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants.

The hosts went out of their way to assist us and make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast. We needed to have a meeting with someone within PE and they graciously gave us a private meeting room to conduct our business. I look forward to continue staying here whenever we need accommodation in PE.

Conifer Guesthouse was ok, brekfast was yummy, stafff friendly, only issue was the room was a bit small for a family of 3, very little cupboard space for 3 people. There's also no kitchenette or atleast a washup space. The shower drain was blocked and smelled disgusting on the first day and night, they unblocked it but the smell was less bad but still not gone. Also had an issue with Ants in the room. The location is great, walking distance from King's Beach and restuarants, wind was very bad every day, we couldnt take walks.

Absolutely disgusted with the service of Conifer Beach House. We booked two nights in December 2022 for an event. We booked via Discovery Travel including breakfast and dinner. When we got there the lady had the nerve to say that what Discovery paid through nightsbridge is less than their rates and it certainly does not include Breakfast or Dinner. Because we booked on Discovery Travel we received a discounted rate but the lady refused us what we paid for. Took it up with Discovery Travel and they were unable to assist and said we must take it up with Conifer Beach House.

The place is very nicely located, quiet, clean and with all the comfort needed. E enjoyed a nice dinner too. The beaches are really close to the location and can be reached on foot in two minutes. A good choice.

Lovely setup, was just strange that the room I booked online was different to the room we were given to check into and when asked why we were told that it was checked out already but at 9pm the previous night to the booking it was available online. Was also told that their online pricing was incorrect and that the room could not be given out at that rate - perhaps why the room change came into play - what I see online is what I book and expect to get. Incorrect rates advertised is not my problem but the owner of the establishment. The bed and pillows were comfortable. New towels are definitely needed as the condition is pathetic for a 4* Guest House. There was a bug under one of the beds. Impressed with meeting Covid regulations and fogging of room and sanitising of remotes. Bathroom was decent with good amenities. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

We stayed two nights at Conifer Guest House as the last stop on our Garden Route trip (via BazBus) and for a day trip to Addo. Communication via WhatsApp prior to our arrival worked well. We were happy with our room, breakfast was great and everybody was really friendly. You can walk to the beach/waterfront, but not many restaurant options close-by.

What a magnificent stay at Conifer Guest House. Leon and Cindy were so welcoming and warm throught our 4 night stay. Our daughter was competing in Lifesaving - Nationals. Early mornings meant early breakfast which was served promptly every morning at 6.15am which Leon and his team had no problem in assisting us. Rooms were neat and clean. The tram assisted us with making dinner every evening when the kids came off the beach, which was just delicious. The service overall was friendly and warm, I felt like I was in my home. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will certainly be back again. The Loubsers
