My husband and I stayed here for a very short stay (1 night) on our honeymoon as we were taking an early flight from PE to Johannesburg the next morning. While our time spent here was short, everyone was very accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. We left early in the morning, too early to stay for breakfast, so the owner packed us up 2 breakfast to-go bags to take on our journey to the airport. Very thoughtful and above-and-beyond what we were expecting!

We had a short one night stay here before an early morning flight .
The rooms and accommodation are very good - certainly more than adequate for our families needs.
We didn’t get to try breakfast as we left early so I can’t say how that was.

The only challenge we had was that the property is not manned/doesn’t have a reception all the time. We didn’t realise that we needed to notify them in advance of our arrival time so when we did arrive we couldn’t get anyone to let us in etc. We understand that they had messaged on our UK mobile number to advise of this, but as we’d swapped our SIM cards over to SA ones we didn’t get the message.
Eventually another guest let us in but even once inside we couldn’t find contact details or a way to contact the host. We finally were able to email and they came to check us in.
Just something for other travellers to be aware of and to plan for!

Our host was welcoming and our room was super comfortable and clean. We were spoilt with a amazing breakfast . The accommodation is central and easy to get to anything needed while you in PE. Would definitely recommend 23onGlen and looking forward to booking our next stay.

We were warmly welcomed by the Manager, David. He was very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and lighted. Thoughtful of them to provide lots of coffee and tea sachets unlike many other properties which ration them. The room was of a decent size and very nice. Bathroom was also nice.

We just stayed for a night and had to leave very early. Given a choice, would have liked to spend more time at the property.

We had a nice stay overhere, nice host, clean rooms, cosy lobby, good advise for restaurants, good breakfast, so perfect in any way! Thanks!! We went to a nice pub on the corner with a lot of local and foreign beers, and afterwards to a nice sushirestaurant a little bit further away, good advise from the host.

After staying at dozens of chain commercial hotels over the years, this was my first real bed and breakfast experience and I doubt i could have asked for anything better.

Key points:
Good big clean rooms.
Secure parking inside the compound.
Sumptuous breakfast included.
A feeling like home :)

A lovely seating area with a small library to have a read, watch the news or sip some wine.

Stayed in a family room which fits 4.

Davis, Patricia and team treat you like family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay at this place. Lovely en-suite room. Safe area within walking distance to nice area with restaurants. Secure on-site parking as well.
Staff was super friendly and made me feel very welcome. Nice breakfast and I liked that there was travel magazines in the lounge. Good wifi.
PE was not my favorite stop on my three-week visit to SA but if I come back I would be sure to stay here again.

Me and my brother stayed there just for an overnight. The house is simply amazing. Looks like you are in a movie. The room was comfortable, shower very good and breakfest also great. But for sure the big star of this place is the staff. Keagen hosted us at arrival, being so friendly with us. And in the following morning Tish drove me to the farmacy to buy some stuffs, because my brother had a hurted leg in kruger park the day before. A small act that maked us feel at home and very gratefull.

Thanks a lot for the stay, for the kind host and hope you all keep this same athmosphere in this place. Hope we can come back one day.

Cheers from Brasil!

My family and I had the great pleasure of staying at 23 On Glen Guest House over the past weekend. The old Victorian house has been stylishly converted into a comfortable welcoming guesthouse. The rooms are clean spacious and very comfortable. The common area where superb breakfasts are served is welcoming and sets the mood of friendliness and comfort. Our manager Dave was a splendid host and nothing was ever too much. The whole family really enjoyed the stay and we will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to stay in PE - rooms are super clean, modern and so well appointed with amazing finishes and Sekai is a super star! She was friendly, accommodating and just lovely! A guest who was expected at 7pm called and told her he would only arrive at 10pm and she was so gracious and said "no problem". We even offered to let him in so she could go home as it is cold and pouring with rain but she insisted, with a smile, that she will stay until the last guest is safely in house. WOW. I am a trainer in hospitality and am so impressed with her attitude, diligence and demeanour, what a gem at this lovely spot! Highly recommended!

Hi! I was told it was safe and in my experience it was a quiet residential area. There are several nice restaurants close by.
