Travellers' Choice
Lush coastal forest and grassland is home to vast herds of African game, including White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Bontebok and many more species. All the animals roam freely, unrestricted in natural surroundings. This owner operated animal friendly park, where no hunting or other disturbance of the game is permitted, means that you always get close up views and great photo opportunities. Take a drive in your own vehicle through the park on the well-maintained roads and enjoy viewing the game in any weather conditions from the comfort of your car. For those really close encounters, choose the 2 hour guided tour in an open Landrover with a professional guide providing you with interesting information on the animals and the historical background to the area. Accommodation is offered in luxury thatch lodges and chalets as well as log cabins.

We had a wonderful stay. This must be the best lodge in the park as far as being able to view the animals right from our balcony upstairs. It was peaceful, quiet and just what we needed. The unit was clean and comfortable. If i can make one suggestion for the kitchen - please change the aluminium cookware to stainless steel. A hairdryer would be nice to have available in the bedroom. There was no info in the unit giving the stock count of what was in the unit. Also a guide on how to use the TV would be helpful. The advert was confusing as it stated a free game drive. When we questioned it, we were told that it was a previous promotion. This therefore should have been removed from the website.

Another lovely leisurely weekend spent at Kragga Kamma who made sure all COVID-19 protocol was followed to allow guests. It was my birthday weekend, and I can only fault the on 2 things: we had to ask for a bedside lamp twice as our room only had one; and I (perhaps unfairly) thought some mention would be made that it was in fact my birthday.

This was a lovely weekend. The accommodations were lovely, had everything you need for a self catering unit. The cafe has the best chicken mayo toastie and coffee! will come back again and enjoy a break away again.

This was a surprise weekend away for the family from my husband. It came at a hard time for me as I was approaching the due date for a baby that I lost, but it was also a babymoon for the family as I am pregnant again. The experience was everything that I and the family needed. It was wonderful to spend so much time with the animals, to wake up in the morning and have breakfast, lunch and dinner on the balcony looking over the park. We have d few spectacular moments where a giraffe walked right up and past the balcony. And our 4 years old daughter will never forget the moment when she was stood outside (between our lodge and the barrier) and the male rhino approached and stood looking at us for what seemed like a lifetime (Rhinos are her favorite animal) The property had

Nice setting but not user friendly if you have appointments after 17h00 in the afternoon with a R500 penalty. Our apartment was clean except for the shower that can get more attention. The restaurant also do not pay much attention to their guests requests. I am allergic to pork and stress several times that I do not want bacon on my omelet but I have to send it back because they put bacon on.
