We stayed for 2 nights and wow what a location. Right on the beach and only a few minutes drive from the town. Great restaurant across the beach which served reasonably priced good food and drink. The team at Milkwood Manor couldn't have been more helpful. I needed to see a doctor and one of the lovely receptionists phoned around until she could find somewhere that could squeeze me in. I really appreciated that, especially as I needed antibiotics. I would have like to have stayed for a while longer, but we had to move on.

We absolutely loved our stay at Milkwood Manor. After a disastrous stay at a previous supposed 5* establishment the staff at MM went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. We had been for a long hike around the Robberg Peninsula and wanted to play cards and have a glass of wine so an ice bucket immediately appeared alongside cutlery etc for the lunch we had brought in. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was spectacular and a great restaurant just across the beach. If I had any constructive criticism it might be that the door to our room, as we were just off reception could be better insulated, as it felt a little noisy but it was very minor. Thank you for a wonderful end to our holiday.

We were very impressed by this place! It is way above guesthouse standard. They offer a la carte breakfast included in the room rate, they have your car washed daily and the location couldn’t be better - right on lookout beach and 300m to one of the best beach restaurants in the town. We strongly recommend this venue.

I'm so glad our car broke down just outside Plett and we were "forced" to spend a night at Milkwood. Wonderfully hospitable service and the breakfast was incredible! Our room (12) had a beautiful view - you really couldn't be closer to the beach if you tried :) Would highly recommend!

What a find. Highly recommended. The view from our room speaks for itself. Our room was large and spacious with a verandah right onto the beach and lagoon. Close to the village and restaurants The staff very friendly and efficient. Great breakfast. Can't wait to come back.
