We walked in to check if rooms were available as we did not hold any booking, from the outset reception ladies went out of their way to assist, accommodate us and made us feel welcome. Stunning location and yet so close to the town center, views from the rooms are beautiful, a highly recommended hotel.

The location was perfect and right on the beach. We could walk to The Grand at Lookout which was ideal. The breakfasts were very good. The bed was very soft and we found ourselves in the middle of the bed struggling to climb out and we are not big people at all. The towels were very small and not very thick. I expected a more ‘luxurious’ towel. The WIFI didn’t work at all in our room (#12) and the staff acted as though it was my phone. Yet it was the same for both of us. The rooms were serviced well and it was generally clean and peaceful throughout our stay.

Dear bails_trails85, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We're sorry to hear that you didn't have the best Milkwood Manor experience. We recently installed wi-fi boosters that extends the signal to all rooms - even #12! and don't anticipate this problem in the near future. We hope to see you again in the near future and look forward to welcome you back to our shores. Until Then, Milkwood Manor on Sea

On arrival, we were checked in by the friendly receptionist without any hassle and shown to our room. We had an amazing view of the gorgeous beach, which is right in the doorstep of the hotel. After settling down and having a nice hot shower, we discovered the only black mark on this hotel - the wifi signal. It's very poor in the room itself and you have to go to the landing outside to use it, so it's quite inconvenient. In this day and age, this could be easily fixed and if it were, I'd have no hesitation in giving a 5* review. The beach is accessed via a gate from the car park and it's lovely to walk along. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, with poached eggs done to perfection and great service. I would have no hesitation staying here in the future

Dear JodyW521, Thank you for sharing your Milkwood Manor experience with other readers. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, and we apologise if the poor internet caused any inconvenience. We have installed signal boosters to extend the reach of our WiFi to all rooms recently, and anticipate that the weak signal strength will now be an issue of the past. Hopefully we can impress you with the connectivity next time you pay us a visit at the seashore. Until then, Milkwood Manor on Sea

Fantastic location right on the beach. Lots of parking and great selection of breakfast options. Our room was lovely with a view over the lagoon. Although the reception staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast staff were not and didn't seem to want to help.
