We stayed only for one night but the staff were great. They were very professional, friendly. The food for breakfast was excellant and the location of the lodge was right on the beach which was great for a beach walk in the morning and the Roberg Reserve was only 0.5 K away

Periwinkle Lodge was an oasis of calm in Plett. Ideally placed for beach walks, Robberg peninsular, the town with its many restaurants. Fabulous sea-view rooms and a welcoming communal area and pool . The staff were wonderfully friendly, efficient and made us feel special

The hike on Robberg is highly recommended, as is a kayak trip on the Keerboom rivier. And Heidi gives very good tips for restaurants nearby. Because of the good wines, a taxi ride there is recommended.

Friendly staff and luxurious accommodation! We felt very welcomed. I also had a wonderful massage 💆♀️ . The Breakfast was also very tasty. We also enjoyed the Inifinitypool on the roof terrace. The room was very nice and clean.

Fantastic location with a great view of the bay from the balcony! Staff were incredibly helpful, booking taxis for dinner for us etc. Breakfast was delicious, and a glorious setting to eat it. The home made cakes in the afternoon were gorgeous too! There was a back up generator, so no problem with load shedding. Our room (number one) was prettily decorated with a nautical theme, and had a balcony with a lovely view, being on the top floor. It was a bit small though when travelling with lots of luggage, and nowhere to put anything in the bathroom really. Some of the other rooms were much bigger. We’d go for room 2 next door if we came back, to give us more space. The other thing to note is that there was a ceiling fan, not aircon, which was a bit noisy. We didn’t manage to sit by the little pool sadly, as there’s only room for a very few sunbeds, and these were always taken when we got back in the afternoon. Stunning setting overlooking the coast. Room and breakfast were perfect, could not fault anything. Freshly baked cakes were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Staff all very friendly. Thank you for a great stay.

Wow, what a view of the beach from a lovely comfortable room with balcony looking out to sea. Lovely informal service, great location for exploring the local area, wonderful selection for breakfast. Good parking, a few steps to get up to your room which was not a problem for us but could be.
