Luxurious hotel with amazing views. Had a wonderful stay at this hotel - the decor is very stylish and the service is excellent. We had a sea view room and it was fantastic. Breakfast has lots of choice and the restaurant has a lot of vegetarian options. It was by far the best hotel of our trip.

We stayed for 3 wonderful nights and can not recommend the Plettenberg enough. The staff are exceptional without being overpowering, fabulous restaurant, pools, rooms, etc. Right beside a sandy beach. What more could you ask for.

Fabulous hotel, we spent 2 days of pure luxury. The rooms are stunning and so comfortable you never want to leave. The staff are exemplary as is the food, afternoon tea was exceptional at £12 per head. The attention to detail rivals any top hotel in the world, but it’s the staff that really make your stay so enjoyable, nothing is too much trouble they are a credit the the collection. We will be back next year for sure

We arrived to a very warm welcome, and whilst I’d booked a sea view we were offered an alternative room downstairs in the main building that accommodated my disability better. It was a smaller room with no view of sorts but it meant we were I the main building for breakfast and not so many stairs for me. It was a much better option and I really appreciated them accommodating me. Comfort and ease overrules a view any day in my book. The hotel is beautifully decorated in every area and very clean. The breakfasts were fantastic and set us up for the day. We ate twice in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meals along with great service. Everyone was so welcoming and pleasant. I treated myself to a fantastic facial while I was there so in all it was a great relaxing experience.

My husband, son and I had the most wonderful 3 night stay at The Plettenberg. The service was wonderful and we were throughly spoiled- especially my son who turned 8 whilst we were there and who was given the most delicious birthday cake to celebrate. The food in the restaurant is superb and all the staff were fantastic. We were upgraded to a beautiful, sea view suite and we could see the whales clearly from our bedroom windows and doors. Highly recommend!

Our stay and the Plet was second to none. The highlight was the staff who were warm and welcoming and made the stay one to remember. We would highly recommend the hotel to everyone. Great food! Great accommodation and if you stay make sure to try one of honest cocktails! The moonshine being one I recommend.

My Wife and I stayed here on our Garden route trip from Port Elizabeth to CapeTown. We really wished we could have spent more time both at the Hotel and the cute town of Plett itself. The hotel is town drawer and has a wonderful relaxed but smart feel. The staff are very nice and management very attentive. Our room had a sea view and was well appointed. There’s easy access right onto the coastal path and down to the beach and the views are amazing ….complete with Whales !! Food in the restaurant very good and service impeccable. If we planned a Garden route trip again we would definitely stay here longer.

A fabulous hotel with amazing staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a quiet and calm ambiance. The staff could not have been nicer. Special thanks to Melissa. I’ve never before seen a General Manager take the time to chat with guests over breakfast. Also thanks to Wendy and Chantal who were always a pleasure to speak with. On my birthday the restaurant even made me a surprise birthday cake. The views from the hotel are stunning. We could watch whales in the bay from our bedroom

This is a lovely and grand hotel that is beautifully decorated and overlooks the beach with its own grounds and infinity pool. The service is absolutely second to none. The General Manager is highly visible and incredibly efficient and made a point of speaking to each guest on arrival and every morning. Her staff follow her lead and nothing is too much trouble for them. Even the security staff who stand outside the hotel all day long are so welcoming and polite. The food is very good and the waiters and waitresses ensure everyone has what they need whist the maitre d'hotel keeps an eye on proceedings. The hotel is in a lovely setting and is highly recommended.
