Loved our stay at The Junction. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated, spacious and comfortable. With it being so centrally located its an easy walk to shops, restaurants and even the beach is only a 10-15 min walk. Highly recommended.

We spent 8 nights at the Junction, 4 rooms in total. Each room was spectacular with very modern facilities, all different in configuration but all very luxurious with all the home comforts. Reta and Cameron with their incredible staff were amazing hosts and could not do enough for us and our children. The service was incredible, the breakfasts in their "Pure Cafe" were perfect, with specific tables reserved for hotel guests, so no waiting time in this busy venue. If I could, I would rate the hotel well above 5 stars, ideal location, close to all amenities, restaurants, etc. The staff are exceptionally friendly and are always prepared to go the extra mile for their guests. We were fortunate to have secure reserved parking, it made a huge difference over the busy new year period. Thank you to the Junction family, we will definitely see you again, Regards David and Tracy

This boutique hotel is situated in the heart of Plettenberg Bay which is really convenient for shopping or eating out. We found the amenities were really great. The furnishings and fittings were beautiful with a lot of thought going into the design. The huge bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious. We loved everything about this awesome little hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful with a lot of helpful advice re things to do in the area. We needed more time there. We will be back! Thank you Retha for superb service and for hosting us. Warm regards, Shawne & Sharon

This is a new addition to the Main Street but the interior designer needs to stay here to experience what it is like if you arrive on holiday with two large suitcases. Room No 10 has a hanging rail and a few shelves but totally inadequate for your average guest. As we had been promised a bath we were moved the next day to another room (6) that had the same problem made worse by the room maid who decided to place all my clothes in a heap just when I had laid them out neatly on the back of the sofa! Both rooms were overly pretentious with their decoration. The showers were good and the bath was welcome. For breakfast you are sent across from reception to an adjoining cafe which caters for the B&B. Menu is a bit over the top and there is no fresh fruit apart from some that comes with yogurt. The Manager was very helpful, however the designer needs to be made to stay here to sample living out of a suitcase! My wife had a fall going up the stairs because there is NO handrail which in the UK is illegal. Something needs doing FAST.

Dear Mr and Mrs Dawson Thank you for your review. Our hotel design is urban, contemporary and very modern as clearly indicated in out photography. I was at the hotel during your stay and I clearly remember my staff offering you 1) laundry service or 2) ironing service whenever you needed. We also left your laundry in the room untouched as requested from us. We pride ourselves in our service and strive to provide service excellence as you can see from all our other very happy guests and previous reviews. With regards to the handrail - we do have a handrail, once again based on a very urban contemporary design. We are boutique hotel after all. You were in our luxury suite upon check in, on our first floor, which is equipped with handrails etc in the bathroom for your convenience. There was no need to use the staircase for this room however Mrs Dawson requested to move to a room with a bath, we only have one room available with a bath and it is on our ground floor. It is once again clearly indicated in our room amenities that we have showers in the room These suites equipped with beautiful private outside courtyards. I am so sorry to hear about you're wife's accident - I do wish that you would have informed us and we would have gladly assisted with any medical attention. However choosing not to inform us we unfortunately could not have assisted. I would like to mention that we focus on our location being in the center of town and main street of Plettenberg Bay. We encourage our guests to experience this convenient setting being walking distance from most restaurants, the beach and also boutique shops. If you don't want to walk we can gladly arrange transport. I am sure you enjoyed the luxury organic breakfast, coffee and fresh pressed juices that was included in your rate. We are looking into offering a fruit option and thank you for this mention. If any of our marketing might have been misleading to your requirements I would gladly take note of these and attend to them. We do hope you enjoyed your time in our beautiful town. Best wishes for 2020 Regards Reta Smit Owner

My wife and I spent a few nights at this establishment. Paying top $ one would expect an espresso machine for a decent cup of coffee, fresh milk and a pot to make tea in. The lighting also needs attention, no bedside reading lights, and poor lighting in the bathroom, so doing makeup with no mirror or having a shave is challenging.
The bathroom could have a double basin.
The corridor to the rooms is noisy and the doors, although they have a closing mechanism which should prevent slamming, the mechanism hasn’t been adjusted properly so you get constant door slamming. Very quiet at night but early morning noise from outside is wakening. Conveniently situated, but hardly a sea view, don’t be fooled by the photos on the website.

The breakfast facility at Pure Cafe is amazing, this is a 5 Star breakfast venue, we couldn’t fault a thing, maybe offer an alternative to craft beer, not everyone is a fan of craft beer, why break a 150 year old mould with SAB.

Dear Shaun Thank you so much for voicing your concerns! We do love hearing from our guests. Herewith my repsonse: We do offer a coffee service in the rooms, next time you visit coffee on us. We will be looking into the lighting issue, but we use low wattage LED bulbs in consideration in our current energy issues (every bit helps) As for the double basin - our design consideration was to be water wise. Thank you for letting us know about the closing mechanism of our doors we will attend to this. The outside noise is the hustle and bustle of town - main street waking up. We are in the city center. Please can you indicate which photos on our website was misleading as we do not promote seaviews? The last thing we want would be to have false advertising. We also love our breakfast and we will inform Cafe Pure about your beer concerns. That is why we stock a wider local selection in your mini bar. Warmest regards Reta Smit

I had a wonderful weekend at The Junction. The accommodation is super modern with lots of space and I love the unique artwork and designs. The team are so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and I felt completely spoilt. I would highly recommend The Junction when travelling to Plett - the location is right on the main street surrounded by restaurants, shops and cafes. Parking was ideal too as I managed to get a space right outside.

The Junction is a new hotel in the centre of Plettenberg with great access to the shops, restaurants and bars. Easy parking directly outside the hotel and very spacious rooms, which have been designed to a high standard. There's a great cafe which serves freshly cooked breakfast, juices and coffee within the hotel. The big plus is everyone who works here who are committed to ensuring that your stay goes as smoothly as possible, and are all genuinely friendly as well. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Plettenberg area and stay centrally.

What a luxurious hotel! We stayed in room 6 which had a big patio and a gorgeous separate bathtub. Excellent location to explore town and quick hop to the beaches. The breakfasts were fresh, organic and delicious and perfectly complemented by their Bootleggers coffee! An awesome sanctuary- we will be back.

We liked this hotel so much that we extended our stay by an extra night. Location is ideal and the rooms feel clean and contemporary. Great healthy breakfast options and we found parking easily out front on the Main Street. Special thanks to the reception team, especially Reggie, who made us feel extremely welcome.
