The unit is spacious, stylishly decorated and comfortable. It is clear that a lot of though had gone into what the typical traveller would need and was catered for. Service was excellent, there was also private and secure parking - highly recommended for a family of up to 4 that need a self catering unit.

Mimosa is a beautiful B&B that is a home away from home. Quiet and peaceful gardens accompanied by modern units left me wanting stay longer than I planned. The owner is warm and welcoming, going out of her way to make you comfortable.. A great stay!

Exactly what I require - very clean, comfortable, spacious master bedroom; customized Continental breakfast; safe off-street parking; lovely garden setting; second double bedroom available if required, so suitable for 1 - 4 people.

Mimosa is a charming, quite luxurious b&b in Grahamstown. It was perfect for our family of four, and Memre went out of her way to may us feel welcome and treated. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and even in mid-winter we were cosy and comfortable. We'll definitely be back, and we can't recommend it more highly - a really special experience!

We spent 5 nights at Mimosa while in Grahamstown for a Rugby festival at Kingswood College. Memre was a fantastic host and her attention to detail; fresh flowers, a fruit bowl and the kitchen stocked to enable us to wake up on the first morning and have coffee and something to eat before we found our way around Grahamstown. We stayed in the B and B with friends and even stayed in the one night and chatted around the kitchen table. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back next time we are in Grahamstown. A very lovely home away from home.

Memre is a superlative hostess. From the moment of booking right through our stay she was super accommodating! I needed to work via wi-fi while staying at Mimosa and Memre let us check in early and check out late to accommodate my work schedule. The accommodation is comfortable & luxurious. The kitchen has everything needed and the gardens are beautiful. I highly recommend Mimosa for travellers looking for great accommodation!

An excellent find in Grahamstown. The accommodation (self catering, two bedrooms) is quiet, cosy and charming, the beds are super comfortable and the shower is hot. The new owner Memre went out of her way to make us welcome - fresh flowers, tea, fresh milk and coffee pods for the Nespresso. What more could a weary traveller want?

My husband and I have been visiting Mimosa regularly for the past 4 years, so for us it definitely feels like "Home from home" We sometimes go on or own or share with friends, we have also had our son stay over from time to time. There are two bedrooms, one very comfortable queen bedroom with a door opening onto the beautiful quiet garden and pool area, which as a guest you are welcome to use on those hot Grahamstown summer days. There is also a second generous size room with very comfortable twin beds so perfect for couples/ friends sharing or if you have kids.
