Being in tented accommodation is a great part of the experience. The twice daily safari tours really bring you close to the wildlifewho are the stars of the show. The staff are very friendly and know their stuff.

The whole experience was amazing - we saw so many animals and the guide was excellent. All of the staff were very welcoming and the food was very good. Would recommend it for anyone looking for somewhere to stay on safari.

We enjoyed a great family break away safari. Very informed guides and beautiful space. Great game viewing, including an elephant that stood just 5 meters from our tent. Very accessible. Tents very comfortable. Food was good but not great, but more than adequate.

Good guides; learned a lot about the animals; great food; and fun being out in the darkness seeing the stars and hearing the animals at night - yet very safe. Only problem was Goggle Maps directions. They would have sent us off on a 10K...More

About
Description
Woodbury Tented Camp is one of the hidden jewels of the Eastern Cape. Tucked into an embracing hillside thicket and overlooking the ancient floodplain of the Bushman’s River, the camp offers rustic and secluded More luxury, with an authentic African wildlife safari experience. Large, comfortable, en-suite tents , with private patios provide the seclusion, tranquility and an intimacy with the bush like no other. Each tent has twin or double beds - at your request. Camp life is centered around the stone, thatch and canvas main dining and lounge area, with its expansive deck overlooking the Woodbury plain and waterhole. A wide variety of game species such as zebra, giraffe, buffalo, rhino and elephant fill the passing parade while fish eagles soar overhead, their hauntingly cry echoing across the valley. Less
