Nicely appointed spacious bedrooms with kitchenettes. The BBQ area and pool make for a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast consisted of cereal, yogurts and a "mini" cooked breakfast. Off street secure parking. Business people staying here said it was the best deal in the area.

I have lived at Aristocrats 2 weeks per month for the past 18 months while on assignment in East London. The accommodation is tops. The guest house manager Gail made this home from home.
The guest house is conveniently situated with several good restaurants close by. I enjoyed the patio and braai area which gave a welcome break from dining out.
I can recommend Aristocrats to any traveler be it for a short or longer stay
Thanks Gail

Very conveniently situated for an overnight stop. For a dog-friendly establishment (by prior arrangement) the accommodation was measurably superior to other offerings we experienced en route from Durban to Cape Town and back. The manageress, Gale, was welcoming and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Basic but tasty breakfast to see us on our way. Highly recommended.

I booked for the night when I was on route with my friends - because we had been on a long road trip, we arrived a bit late in the evening. The owner was very rude and hostile. She made absolutely no attempt to smile or be nice.
The place has nice facilities but the service was just absolutely unbearable!

Strange enough, she was very nice to the other guests, I have no idea what we have done wrong, she did not like us upon site.

The guesthouse has good facilities everything you would expect and a cheaper than average rate, however the establishment is on a busy road. The proprietor had no knowledge of my booking that was made prior to check in. The reception was rood and unwelcome. Parking can be a hassle. Upon my stay it was crowded with guests (friends). Serving a satisfying breakfast does not seem to be a priority. I do not recommend this guesthouse. Customer service is the worst I've experienced.

The staff were polite and helpful.

Swimming pool was clean and sparkly, could do with some deck chairs to laze on.

Parking was in a garage, undercover with direct access to rooms.

Room was clean, tidy and prepared on time. T.V's could do with an upgrade to flat screens.

Wifi worked at the pool but didn't reach the room we stayed in (room 7). I wouldn't suggest business men stay in room 7. I should have performed a speed test and posted the screenshot, maybe someone else can.

Breakfast was above average 7/10.

We stayed in Unit 7, and it was clean and very well equipped. The linen was fresh and attention to detail showed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good - probably a 7/10. The pool area is well maintained. It is a Very nice place overall. The Only issue we had was that the wifi signal strength is weak in room number 7.

We stayed one night on a business visit to East London and we found this guest house in a very safe area on Bunkers Hill. The rooms are cozy and with everything you need. One of our rooms had an unusual entrance to the ensuite bathroom that goes through the wardrobe but that was fine.
Very good price-quality ratio. I would recommend this guest house to business travelers and couples alike.

Stayed at this guesthouse while on business in East London. At first I was in Room 9 which is huge and was rather cold. Aircon not functioning. However, Gail managed to move me to Room 1 which was much better. A well kept garden and a lovely room. My meals at night were plentiful and savoury. However, parking is a mission if you can't get a garage. Cars park in an alley and have to be maneuvered in order for one vehicle to get out. Gail was most helpful regarding a courier issue.

Gail you have a good facility, but you must learn to be welcoming, to treat your customers with respect and your rules must apply to all irrespective of race. My money has the same value as you foreign visitors.
