Detailed Reviews
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with inkwenkwezi. Despite making a reservation well in advance, my group and I were subjected to a double booking error that significantly impacted our overall enjoyment.
The lodge failed to deliver the promised services and booking arrangements we had made, causing frustration and distress among our group.

What an awesome experience. On arrival your guide collects you at reception and takes you to your bush accommodation 20 minutes drive in the Landrover. Game drive was very informative, besides 4 of the big 5 animals, even learnt about bird, insect and plant life. Our guide, Willem, was so knowledgeable, taught us so much about nature. Luxury accommodation, beautiful views from your deck. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was 3 course and delicious with a fire to keep you warm. Definitely a recommendable experience.

A group of 10 of us visiting SA for the England cricket tour arranged a minibus to get to this private game reserve. Once there the game reserve guide / driver Courtney was excellent and informative seeking out lions, rhinos, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, emus etc etc during the 3 hours safari trip on a Land Rover. The cost of 985RAN per head was good value.

The property is great, we were treated as VIP's by our dedicate guide Willem. He was humble, resourceful, always available to cater to our needs and punctual. He knew every corner of the property. Our game drives were fun and very informative. See you soon

Louis and I spent 2 nights at Inkwenkwezi and it was the most wonderful break that we have ever taken. The serenity of the place was our highlight. We had an excellent guide in Johann. We saw many animals with two white lions walking past the Land Rover at arms length...Incredible! Amazing! The staff that we interacted with were very humble and gracious to us. Staying in the Bush Camp was a new experience to us, but we loved the fact that we were "Glamping." Tent luxury it is. The meals that were served were very good. I want to extend our gratitude to the owners of this 'piece of heaven', and all their staff who evidently espouse their vision so well. God Bless you all! Louis & Wendy Coleman, Durban, South Africa

Chintsa is an exceptionally refreshing place to visit. Why not give it a try today? At the beach one gets to sit back, relax and enjoy the sound of the crashing waves. In the afternoon, swimming was a completely exciting part for the entire family with photos taken right at the beach. It's not the wild coast for nothing, right. If you are lucky enough, you might spot a bushbuck or even a monkey. If that is not enough, one can do bird watching, nature walking, and fishing. It can kill the day while forgetting the urban lifestyle. Try Chintsa today, it's worth it.

Absolute 10/10 experience! The assistance from Johan driving us back and forth from camp valley and restaurant as well as the game drive led by Tammy was completely phenomenal to say the least. They went out of their way to ensure our moments there were unforgettable. From amazing food, being within a few meters of giraffe, white lions, rhino, etc. What an experience! My fiance and I have made memories here to last a life time. Would definitely recommend.

I spent an awesome night at Inkwenkwezi a few days ago. The service was awesome as was the accommodation. The Friday evening meal at the main building was very festive with live music and a huge array of food to choose from. We managed to fit in some quad biking the following morning before leaving which was a huge amount of fun. Highly recommend this place. Colin Chaplin

From the moment we drove into the reserve we saw lots of Game.... as if they were waiting for us to arrive. we stayed over for 2 nights in their valley camp. it is a luxury tent with everything you need in the bush where you can sit on your balcony and listen to the abundant bird life and look at the stunning valley. Our guide, Willem, made sure that the game drives were interesting and you could see his love for nature. This was money well spent.

Never been to a game reserve so had no idea what to expect.
It was amazing, I got lucky as I was a lone traveler and just how the guest spread fell on my visit I had a guide just for me.
I learnt about ants nests in trees, termite mounds to seeing Giraffes roaming the plans and buffalos taking a stinky sauna.
Brilliant stay cannot recommend it highly enough. Your not ‘nailed on’ to everything you want to see, but that just adds to the drama so when u do turn a corner and your guide spots something you have never have seen without them just makes it all the sweater.

It is best to visit Inkwenkwezi's website for tarriffs.
We found them reasonable, since meals and gamedrives are inclusive of their prices. You only pay extra for drinks and additional activities.
Sorry I can't answer your question. You need to contact the reserve management for the answer. I should have thought it would be on their web site. I was only a visitor for one day and had lunch there.
Inkwenkwezi is about 30 kilometers from East London, and in the time you have it may not be practical to hire a car. A taxi hire for the day could be possible, but could be expensive.
Why not contact Inkwenkwezi
by phone or on their email form which is on their website?

Good luck in getting there, the opportunity to feed the elephants is a unique personal experience.

This is what we did.
We were a family of 6 and arrived there in the morning, paid the entrance fee and were allowed to go on the next tour.
We only wanted to experience the interaction with the elephants, which included an opportunity to feed an elephant. A wonderful experience.
The website of Inkwenkwezi provides a phone number and opportunity to send email questions, if you need to do this.
