The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is often celebrated for its cleanliness, with visitors impressed by the well-kept surroundings and pristine rooms. While some find the atmosphere to have outdated elements, many feel the hotel's ambiance is special, accentuated by its stunning location. Guests rave about the amenities, from the luxurious villas to the array of activities and fine dining, though prices for extras do tend to be steep. Despite this, the exceptional service and spacious rooms with breathtaking views often lead travelers to regard their stay as worth the investment.

We are staying at the St Regis Bora Bora & can not rave enough about the views, concierge service & our room. We’ve traveled the world and have never received service as wonderful as here at the St Regis. They truly anticipate your every need. Housekeeping suddenly appears & disappears while you are at breakfast or dinner & “POOF” like magic, our room is spruced up and little gifts left on the bed. Richie, our butler, magically appears while we are having breakfast to ask if he can schedule any excursions for us or help us with any other needs. Each villa is assigned a bike for each guest to quickly make our way around the resort. We LOVE this as it assures we always have a bike available. They will graciously pick you up in a golf cart if you’d prefer a ride. Sunscreen and towels are always readily available by the beach & pool so guests can just show up and have fun in the sun.

We were supposed to visit in late April/early May for our anniversary & my birthday but that was delayed due to the Covid pandemic 😷. I can tell you the wait was worth it even with all of the flight changes & then hotel change- we were supposed to stay at Le Meridian but they decided to remodel rather than reopen this year. Bonus for us because Marriott/Bonvoy graciously moved us here!
All staff wear masks and guests do as well, while inside or in close proximity to others but it is no different than wearing our mask at home. The breakfast buffet has been replaced by a menu with each item. For the safety of guests, waiters will ask you what you’d like & they’ll bring it to your table. Every table, beach chair, door knob, etc is cleaned before use by any other guest. Restaurants and stores at home are not this clean. We’re talking Attention To Detail!
KUDOS to the St Regis Bora Bora team! You have outdone yourselves! 😊🌴

One of the best properties I've ever stayed at. Maybe the strongest endorsement I can give is that it is worth every penny. The property is outstanding, taking full advantage of its location in one of the most exotic and beautiful places on earth and the service is among the best I have ever experienced. I offer two examples of the latter which I already shared with the staff, but which bear repeating here.

First, a simple misunderstanding. The masks make it difficult even for native English speakers to communicate, so when one day I showed up at the pool bar and asked for a beer I was not surprised to be presented with a bill for a beer, but no beer. I tried to communicate with the staff at the bar, but to no avail. I went to the registration and spoke to one of the Front Agents, Julie Dillard, just to make sure I didn't get charged for the beer I never got. Julie, who's wonderful in just about every way, fixed this immediately without me even asking. About 5 minutes after I got back to my room I had a beer delivered in a nifty little plastic bag filled with ice. A few days later again at the pool bar, Richard, the property dining manager, came to follow up with me about it. We ended up having a great conversation about a wide range of topics which turned about to be a highlight of the day. This effort by all on a relatively small item was much appreciated and I will remember it as a mark of true service.

Example two comes courtesy of United Airlines. The day before we left we received notice that our return flight was delayed by a full day. This of course instantly created a crisis. Akane, our butler, and Olivier, one of the senior staff, took care of extending our stay by a day and rearranging our Air Tahiti flights so that everything worked nicely. This was a rush job and they handled it perfectly so that we could enjoy the extra day "forced" on us by United! I got in two extra dives and my wife and son spent the extra day at the beach.

Room tip: If you like stargazing get a bungalow with a pool and watch the stars at night with a glass of champagne. I'll go back just for that. And don't fool around - if you're going to do this get an Otemanu view!

The bottom line here is... just do it. I only wish I could put this property (and Bora Bora) in my bag and carry it home with me!

If you are looking for an amazing experience this is your hotel. The staff at St. Regis are exceptional when it comes to taking care of the customer. We were greeted by our personal butler who provided us all the resort details, addressed us by name in passing, called us to give us three different departure options, including pricing, met us at our boat on departure day and stayed and waved goodbye until we were out of sight.

The villas were a little dated. They still had the same design from when the movie Couples Retreat was filmed there. But, the views were out of this world. They had daily activities, bicycles for guest, beach equipment, and a spa were we could do morning yoga and book a massage.

There are different dinning options available. The restaurant staff always greeted us by name and ensured that our food allergies were known to the restaurant staff. Every meal was delicious especially the Lagoon Restaurant by Jean-Georges. We dinned on, out of this world, fish dishes while watching the sharks swim beneath us.

The resort has an area where you can swim with the fish. You can purchase fish food from the resort and enjoy seeing all the beautiful, colorful fish swimming around you. Snorkeling gear is available. We brought our own gear and recommend it.

The experience here at St. Regis is well worth the money!

If I had to qualify my stay at the St Regis Bora Bora in one word that would be : Perfect !
I have traveled to many luxurious hotels all over the world and it is hard to equal The St Regis in Bora Bora. It is pure luxury. Not only is the hotel gorgeous, with beautiful views no matter where you are looking, but also the rooms are astonishing and so clean. Most importantly, the customer service is one of the best I have ever encountered. For instance, we went on a few tours (booked on our own) and when we were back, our butler would be waiting for us at the pier to bring us back to the room without us even requesting anything. We had a little issue with one of our bikes and within less than 15 minutes, there was another bike outside of our water villa.
This is the perfect place if you like to be pampered and stress free ! Everyone who works there do such an amazing job, there really is nothing to complain about. I could go on and on on how perfect this is, but you really have to experience it by yourself and trust me, I guarantee that it is impossible you get disappointing.
Lastly, it is important to point out that they do an amazing job with social distancing and we could see the staff constantly disinfecting high traffic areas, our tables, rooms.....

My wife and I stayed at the St. Regis in Bora Bora for a week during our honeymoon last month. From the moment we arrived on the boat slip, everyone we met was the embodiment of pleasant, kind, and of service. The first interaction we had was with the kind women that worked behind the front desk. They were able to upgrade us to a premium overwater bungalow due to the COVID occupancy rate and the fact that we were Marriott Bonvoy members. They went out of their way to make our day by doing this and we were able to enjoy the next tier up of bungalows for the duration of our stay. Our liaison while we were there was Paul (please forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) and he went out of his way time and time again to help us create a dinner schedule, check in with us every morning at breakfast, and shower us with service and kindness for every need we had the entire time we were there. We stayed in an Otemanu view overwater premium bungalow and the St. Regis also provided a free dinner meal plan for our entire stay due to the circumstances of the pandemic as a way to thank us for coming out! The property, surrounding landscape, and beautiful water is truly something that you have to see in person to believe. My wife and I got married two years ago and delayed our honeymoon to 2020 in order to save up to go on this trip. Best decision of our lives! The St. Regis in Bora Bora is easily the most beautiful property we have ever travelled to in our lives. It is truly that spectacular and the staff turns what is already naturally beautiful into an unforgettable experience. We could not stop talking about making plans for our next visit to the St. Regis in Bora Bora in the future. The snorkeling lagoon, spa, stars at night, bicycles, Oasis pool and delicious food were the highlights of ours at the property, although there is truly something for everyone here. The way the property handles safety and health was also very much appreciated (especially since we traveled from America where it is a mess). We could not have felt safer during our stay with regards to the pandemic. We want to give a special thank you to the following staff members that truly went above and beyond in making our day every single times we saw them: Tarita Pahuiri, Mina and Chloe in the spa, Thomas Nicolas, Tristan in the French restaurant, Paul as our liaison, Matira, and Heitapu (really the entire breakfast staff that we saw every morning), and the kind woman with glasses that works in the French restaurant that went out of her way to get my wife aloe from the spa for her sunburn when the gift shop was closed one night. Thank you all so much for your kindness and making our honeymoon truly unforgettable!!! We will definitely be seeing you all again! Maururuu!

We spent 8 nights in an Otemanu view deluxe OWB at the St. Regis, what a great resort and experience! The staff takes the service ethic very seriously, we were always greeted with a cheery “Ia Orana!” from everyone, housekeeping to landscaping to wait staff! The grounds are magnificent, the bungalows are huge and perfectly appointed, and all three restaurants on site were really excellent, and I’m no pushover when it comes to this stuff! Lagoon is the most lauded restaurant, and it is incredibly beautiful and well situated for the sunset views, and the food is excellent, though very seafood centric (perfectly understandable and great for some, like me, maybe not so for others, like my wife). We went there for drinks almost every night whether we were eating there or not. The other two restaurants, the Asian themed Bamboo and the Italian Far Niente, were also really good. Both surprised me in a really good way, some of the best Asian and Italian fare I have had in a long time anywhere! We did a meal plan that included breakfast and dinner, which worked out very well. The breakfasts at the poolside restaurant were just fine, the same every day except for quiche and smoked fish of the day, but it was extensive, with a variety of eggs, griddle items, seafood and fresh fruit and wonderful baked goods, all ordered a la carte and prepared fresh. We did have a lunch or two and they were good, a tasty and large burger especially. The butlers are very helpful, ours were Ida and then Hereti, the bikes were a great way to get around (though it was pretty hilarious watching people like us who haven’t been on bikes in a while struggle with starting and stopping!), and the grounds were immaculate. I took a 2 mile power walk every day to past the Lagoonarium (which is great little snorkel!) and got to see all the grounds, quite impressive. I am also a diver and enjoyed some of the finest diving of my life with Patrick at Dive N’ Smile, who I highly recommend. We visited and saw manta ray cleaning stations, eagle ray feeding grounds, and some of the most pristine and beautiful reefs in the world! We booked our whole trip, which was delayed by a year due to FP closure last February, through Pacific for Less, who were top notch. I told my wife the only tiniest of nit picks I might have had were there is quite a bit of cart traffic, (mostly staff along the main walking route, so you need to pay attention while biking or exercising, especially with earbuds in) and there are virtually no trash receptacles on the grounds anywhere other than at the common areas, one or two along the main walking/biking routes might have been helpful, but still unobstructive. That’s all I could come up with, so this is a super nice resort, very good staff, very good food, beautiful grounds!

This was our second visit to the St. Regis Bora Bora on our 4th visit to BB. We loved it the first time, but had an even better visit this time. We always use Pacific for Less for our travel to BB. We travel a lot, and always book ourselves, but when we go to BB we always use Pacific for Less. Claudia, Monika, Jeanna and everyone else there work tirelessly to create a VIP experience due to their extensive connections in French Polynesia. We took advantage of a fantastic deal that included upgraded accommodations and meals at a price we couldn't pass up.

Traveling here during the Covid was so awesome. Once we overcame the stress of having a negative test prior to departure, everything was fantastic just based on the fact that there were so few people. The plane was relatively empty so we could stretch out. Once we got to the resort, there were also very few people. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service was amazingly personal. We stayed in an island view OW villa, our second time in this villa class. They appeared to have been updated and refreshed since our last visit so no one can complain that they are tired anymore. The meals at all the restaurants were incredible, and not just because they were included.

The only issue during the whole trip was the change in US policy requiring a negative Covid test prior to arrival from an international flight. FP required a test during our stay, but the US government wouldn't accept it because it was a self test. Then there was no system in place to get people tested prior to their late international flights at the airport. Their testing center closed too early to accommodate most passengers requiring a lot of last minute juggling of itineraries. Thank goodness for Pacific for Less. Claudia was communicating with us constantly and got us out of there early enough to get our tests. Don't know what we would have done without them.

We returned to the St Regis to celebrate our anniversary and truly reveled once more in the sheer bliss there. We did the private beach side villa compared to the overwater bungalows and enjoyed the extra solitude and space looking out over the reef to the waves from our bed. Even in crazy 2020 the St Regis continues to hit it out of the park in terms of luxury and service. The staff are so friendly & welcoming and can't do enough for you - both the local employees and the young French crew more involved on the management side. We particularly loved Lagoon for dinner and the fabulous massages at Iridium Spa. The ground are also spotless and well maintained and it's cool to cruise around on the complimentary bicycles and stop by and feed the fish while snorkeling in the lagoonarium. If you dot he latter, say Hi to Terry, the biggest blue tropical fish you'll ever see who will literally feed from your hand. Thank You again to the St Regis and staff - we can't wait to see you again on our next trip!

My husband and I had a great stay at St. Regis Bora Bora in early June. We are so grateful for every amazing aspect of the stay, from the delicious meals at the on-site restaurants, to the friendly beach boys, to the amazing butler and housekeeping services. The resort grounds is stunning...it really has epic "postcard" views at every angle! We stayed in the overwater bungalows; the bungalows are so spacious and clean, and the sound bar and large bathtub were definitely added bonuses. Can't think of a better way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! Thank you, St. Regis Bora Bora!

My wife and I just returned from 6 days at the St Regis and have already agreed to take another "trip of a lifetime" there sooner rather than later. Bora Bora has been at the top of our bucket list for over 10 years and our decision to stay at the St Regis was rewarded with an incredible vacation where not a single thing went astray.

The property is phenomenal and has the absolute best location on the island with breathtaking views of Mt. Otemanu and more colors of blue across the water than you can imagine. Our villa was huge and we spent most of our time lounging on the deck, both in the shade and sun, and played in the water several times each day. The spa is world class and our massage treatments were some of the best we have ever had. Pools were the perfect temperature and there were always plenty of chairs available at the pool and beach. We ate at all of the restaurants and always had a great meal.

Our biggest surprise was how absolutely kind and attentive each and every staff member was. The service provided was well above any hotel we have stayed at before and spanned across every single person we interacted with. The hotel obviously has top-notch management that knows how to hire the right type of person for a luxury resort.

Covid protocols were closely followed by the hotel and guests making it a very safe environment for vacationing.

We cannot wait to go back, Maururu!!!

When you first arrive at the airport, you will have to check in for the boat (there will be a sign), and that is where they will give you a Lei. You will get a welcome beverage upon check in, and other surprises will also be waiting for you in your room if you are celebrating a special occasion there.

Great questions- There were already two adaptors in the room, so we didn't need to use ours much- but we did bring two with us just in case we needed them in the airport when traveling or on an outing somewhere. In the room, the extra adaptors we brought came in handy when charging up multiple electronic items.
