Check In: The pick up from the airport to the hotel is very luxurious with a very nice catamaran picking you up to take you on a leisurely 20 minute ride to the resort. When you arrive, your bags are whisked away and you are...More
We took a lot of pictures because we just could not believe the beauty of the views all around us. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise every morning. I loved how you could open the wooden shutters in our room just a touch and...More
Beautiful site, not far from the airport, lovely greeting. We stayed in an overwater bungalow and it was fabulous. Spent most our time in the water snorkelling - amazing visibility and wonderful variety of marine life in the coral gardens around the bungalows.
The view from our Overwater Bungalow was spectacular and maybe the best on the island. We had the Bungalow towards the end of the boardwalk. The water surrounding the bungalows is crystal clear, shallow---not deep; allowing guests to walk, float or swim without worrying about currents...More

Hi Tracy, we returned to Australia from Papeete & Bora Bora several weeks ago. Yes Cr cards are widely accepted but we were quite wary of using it too much cause fees (Australian) are charged at every transaction which can mount up. We only used mainly once at end of our stays at both resorts as a ‘one off’. Smaller outages were paid by Xpf cash (eg at markets & really small vendors that only accept cash) We obtained Xpf before leaving Australia. It was way easier & cost effective than Cr cards every time. We could have used a debit card also cause it incurred much less fees but not everywhere accepts them. Enjoy your trip! from Cheryl
