I'm not really sure why this hotel is rated so highly. To be sure, the courtyard and fountain (which I think was listed as a pool, but it was too shallow and small to do any more than crouch down and take a dip) were...More

Hotel is very centrally locates just a short walk to the center of the city and the pedestrian street with a variety of stores and restaurants. The hotel is very charming and the staff very helpful. I recommend it.

Sorry I didn't answer sooner. We didn't see any noteworthy attractions nearby, but found the parks, streets, shops and markets nearby safe to walk to. We did get out about 10 in the morning, and felt no qualms about being out. The hotel is in the business district, so there always a lot of people around. Our driver from the airport recommended being watchful when we used our cell phones in the event someone came by and tried to grab the phone, but we didn't encounter any thieves.
