This was our 2nd stay at the hotel as its a great stopping off point as we head north back to the international airport. Staying for 2 nights.
A great warm welcome and a great room, this time opting for a Junior Suite. The room...More
Our travel agent booked this hotel for us under the "mid-range" options. It was lovely!! It is two blocks from manuel antonio park and the beach but tucked back and feels very secluded and surrounded by the beautiful trees and scenery. The pool is lovely...More

Hello Lori thanks for your comments and punctuation. We are pleased you and your family enjoyed our restaurant and also the staff service was satisfactory.
This is a great place to stay because it is near the National Park and the small town and public beach. The general ambience is of a place to relax in the small pool and bar area and observe the tropical birds including toucans that...More
Nice hotel on very good location. Very close to the beach and the Manuel Antonio national park, both on walking distance. Spacious room with small kitchen. Nice swimming pool and bar with happy hour from 5 to 7. Only minus is the small bathroom and...More

Yes, I think so, its a longer walk though...maybe a couple of miles if you go by the road/streets. It might be shorter if you are able to cut through from the public beach but I don't know if that is possible. The public beach is only 5 minutes from this hotel and the Manuel Antonio beaches are also quite close (20 min walk maybe if you go straight to the beach and aren't distracted by all of the wildlife in the park)but you have to enter through the park and pay the $16 entrance fee... But it is worth the fee, they are beautiful and calmer than the public beach because they are more sheltered.

There is no hot tub or jacuzzi here, but it's too hot and humid here in my opinion to want one. There is a jet in the pool on one side which is nice. The pool is nice and refreshing but the water is fairly warm, just cold enough to provide excellent relief from the heat. There are even bar stools built into the pool that let you have food or beverages on a counter near the bar.
