Before booking this hotel, we read all the reviews and were aware that the cost for modest rooms on the beachside was quite steep. However, we had no regret for paying the extra because the convenience was well worth the cost. We were literally steps...More
Hotel promises “Ocean Views” but our room had no view of the ocean. Property is on very steep hill. WiFi is poor, A/C is underpowered. Room is shabby with updated little bathroom. Beach and restaurant were very relaxing. Nothing within walking distance.

I don't know the difference between types of Villas. The stairs number about 90. It's a haul, but we hike, so it didn't really bother us much. They are not in impeccable shape - some cracks and unevenness and a small bridge as part of them that we always held tight to the rail to get up and down. That said, there is a rail the whole way. Go your own pace and it should be fine. Views are definitely better the higher you go.
