Do not believe the photos this place is run down but they’re trying to remodel. Poorly. I can see no beach here. The doors won’t shut, any of them. The room door or bathroom door? If you want to shut them you’ll have to have a kick that would make Bruce Lee proud. The beds are terrible and none of us got much sleep definitely won’t be staying here again. Neighbors were pot heads, which is non of my business but their smoke was filling up our room (had to put my clothes under the door between the rooms to keep the smoke from rolling in. It looked like they were smoking in our room.) The interaction with the staff was brief I only saw the lady working the front and only for a second but she seemed nice. They’re are plenty of options in a similar price range that are really beach front I suggest that you try any of those.

I booked my trip and got in late that night, to find out the hotel was under construction. It was noisy at 7 am and in the middle of the day when my two babies were trying to nap. There was no free breakfast as stated no their website. The tv only had two channels the first night we turned it on and the next day it wouldn’t even turn on. The lobby was empty other than a front desk. And there was no where to hang towels in the bathroom.

Terrible. We booked on hotels.com with unrefundable. Went to check in and was told no room available. Just going in the front door the place was trashed. We were still charged even though they wouldn't give us a crappy room. Go to one of the Phoenix properties on the beach.

My daughter and I stayed from the evening of Dec 13, 2020 to the morning of Dec. 17, 2020. With the exceptions of the fine, comfortable mattresses and pillows you provided, the rest of our stay was terrible. There was no hair dryer in the room as promised on the advertisement and it took 2 days for us to get one from them. When we made our reservation, we asked for a room with a shower chair and was given one without it so we asked for a free standing shower chair. We were brought an adult potty chair (without the potty part), which was ridiculous and too large to fit into the tub. We had to go purchase our own. The towels were sparkling white and there were plenty of them but they were very rough and scratchy - very uncomfortable on the skin. With the exception of during the night or late evening, there were always people (women) in the lobby eating and they appeared to be family members of the managers or owners. This is really a bad business practice. They should find another place to take their meals other than the public lobby. During the evening, there would only be one staff member there, running the registration desk and we had to rely on her to leave her desk and the lobby open to do anything for us. Again, that is not good business practice. I understand there was a horrendous hurricane that damaged much of the hotel in September so there was a lot of construction going on at this hotel and others around it. My preference is either that they would have started later than 8am or they would have worked on the opposite side of the hotel from where our room was.  I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. I see there is a pool in the pictures on their website. It must have been blown away by the hurricane because I saw no evidence whatsoever of it. I do think the hotel should never have been open to the public until at least a full service could have been presented to the paying customer. The young woman who worked the front desk consistently was most charming and most helpful, when she could be. I really liked her.

Room Tip: The back of the hotel, away from the busy street, is the quietest.
