My family spent four nights at The Lodge and we had a great time! The beach is beautiful— we rented umbrella/chairs by the day. We spent one afternoon on the pier watching people fish (and clean their catch). The pool is nice but was too cold for my kids. We rented bikes on site (free for 3 hours) and rode into the State Park. Spotted a few alligators which was exciting for us! The restaurants are fabulous. Best thing is that The Lodge and State Park are conveniently located between Orange Beach and Gulf Shores but feel secluded. It was easy to avoid people which was nice during covid. Highly recommend!
I had an unexpected stay in gulf shores and booked 2 nights at this hotel only because I was in need of last minute accommodations. What a pleasant surprise! Beautiful location, clean, modern, safe with excellent on site facilities. Highly recommend!
Service was pleasant! Rooms were clean and appeared to be well kept. Staff present at pool and beach area. Our family felt welcomed and truly enjoyed our stay. I loved the accommodations for the kids. The dept of the pool was kid friendly with a game area for there enjoyment. We will definitely return soon!
Great Staff, Beautiful Resort! Food was awesome, lots of options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great views! Beach was amazing, white sand. The pool was nice and has a small ice cream and food place to eat at while sitting around the pool!
We loved this hotel. We were pleased with everything about it (other than most folks not wearing masks inside, although staff did). Our room was clean and very comfortable. The pool was beautiful, although we didn't use it as it was so crowded. The pool bar was fun for getting a quick drink and staff there was so friendly. The hotel lobby was gorgeous although we didn't spend much time there. The coffee shop/wine bar was just so-so. The restaurant (Perch) was sublime, and I've reviewed it separately. The fitness center was great for our purposes, and we enjoyed our workouts (we were the only ones in there). Our favorite part was the stand of bicycles (free for use) and we rode daily for 1-2.5 hours; the trails throughout Gulf State Park were amazing and we had such fun. Also, the views from the hotel of both the ocean and the park were amazing as well. Staff was always helpful and friendly. All in all, an excellent experience. When I head to Gulf Shores again, I'll definitely stay here again! Loved it!!…
