We spent 10 days recently and would go back again.
The roads are all paved and sites are level concrete.
There are a lot of snowbirds here and all here are friendly. The park is very quiet.
The pool and spa looked nice but we did not use them, the bathrooms are individual and very clean. There are 4 washers and dryers ($1.50 each per load, they take quarters), we had no problem getting wash done with no waiting.

Nice RV park with paved sites. Staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed for a week. Full hookups. Spotless restrooms and showers. Many of the residents are snowbirds. Scheduled activities most days. Laundry, pool, and whirlpool on site. WiFi was available but slow. Lot's of things to do in Foley and only a short drive to Gulf Shores.

Lovely park, clean and well kept, friendly! First time that we have been turned down for a Military discount though. First reason for not qualifying is that I am retired, not active. While I was active, I was too busy dodging mines and bullets and watching out for my buddy to go camping - just sayin'. I can't think of any of my fellow servicemen who had the time or money to go camping while serving. The second reason that I was turned down was that I was with the Canadian Military. Maybe Americans at home don't know that we are out there fighting shoulder to shoulder with Americans all over the world. I was in Kosovo with my beloved American fighters - we were all one there. I invite any American serviceman to mention his military service when they are travelling in Canada and I fully expect, and have witnessed that discounts are extended there to American military members too. Maybe I'm out to lunch, but maybe not. This campground is really nice and I would come back. Feel a little slighted though.

Wife and I love this park. It has everything you need. The ppl are friendly and the staff is very accomadating. The Park is central to everything and only a few minutes from the Beach. Have stayed here for about 4 one month stays plus 2 whole winters. We will be back

We are on the road about 65 days out of the year. We are a family with two older teenage girls. We’ve seen the country and stayed at a million places. We don’t need “kids activities” and are almost always self contained (meaning we usually don’t use the bath house or laundry).

We were in town this time for business sales calls from Mobile to Pensacola for my daughter’s fall break. The location was PERFECT! The camp sites VERY large and VERY clean. The people are friendly and accommodating. The pool is one of the best we’ve encountered with a covered table, TV area for Saturday football game viewing. This was a very quiet campground too, and the guests generally friendly as well! The location is 20-25 minutes from the beach. We were here in October and the temps were in the mid 80’s and the water very warm. Absolutely perfect place to shop.... right by one of the bigger Tangier outlets in the country, an Old Tyme Pottery, a regular mall, a movie theatre, and the general touristy beach shops and putt putt’s.

Full hook ups, pull thru $50 night. I did use the laundry this trip...$1.50 wash, $1.50 dry - no issues

Stopping for a couple of nights while traveling, very helpful in getting us a sight, making sure we got there and checked in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for the good sign making it easy to find on a busy highway. Good park in the fact it is so centrally located to restaurants and shopping. Just wished they would honor Good Sam, AAA, or AARP. But still a good place to stay. Thanks

This RV resort is wonderful. They offer more than I expected. Quiet, clean, dog friendly, close to a plethora of shopping and dining. If you want the beach go 20 minutes South and you are there. This place is a little more expensive but totally worth it. A definite fav. We will be back.

We stayed here while in town for the Foley Hot Air Balloon Festival in early May. The location was great as it was an easy 10 minute drive from the festival grounds via back roads. It is also located quite close to the Tanger Outlets and an easy 20 minute drive to the Gulf Shore beaches. The good things about this RV resort is that all the sites have cement slabs and are very level with easy access for parking your unit. The bathhouses are centrally located, but there is only one building for the entire resort so not the closest walk from some sites. There are about 5 individual bathroom/shower combination rooms. This is a nice option for privacy but I think it could become a problem for access to the toilets in the summer when the pool and showers are being used more heavily and the toilets would be unusable any time the showers are in use. Showers were kept clean for the most part although there was an issue with one being clogged the day we arrived, another was locked and unaccessible and a third was out of paper towels. All issues were remedied in a timely manner, however. The pool and surrounding areas are VERY nice and include a large hot tub, lounge chairs and grassy areas. There is also a nice club house and game room/ workout area. The negatives would mostly be that there is simply very little shade at all which means very little privacy between sites and units. Sites are fairly close together and you better be ok with being in your neighbors' space any time you spend outdoors. Kids and dogs pretty much interrupted our morning sleep on days when we didn't have to be up early :( . Also, there was no fire ring so no outdoor nighttime campfires are permitted. This is disappointing since that is always an enjoyable part of camping for us in the off season when nights are a bit cooler. The other problem we encountered was the location of the sewer hook-up in regards to the electrical panel hookup. Our unit is a Lance truck camper that sits right in the back of the pick-up truck and is only about 25' in length overall. In order to park out unit back into the pad far enough to utilize the wider area for our awning and picnic table, we were then too far away from the sewer opening for our hose to reach. Since we were only staying 3 nights, it wasn't a huge issue as we just didn't hook up and then used the sewer hook-up as a dump station right before we checked out on our last day. However, if we'd been staying a week or more, we would have needed to have a longer hose which creates a storage issue for us in our smaller unit. The site set up is definitely geared toward those driving 40' long or bigger rigs. Overall, for our purposes, we enjoyed our stay but would not choose this place simply for a camping trip. It was a good, local, convenient place to stay while having business in the area without incurring the pricier cost of a hotel or OK if you were going to spend all your waking hours in the pool area or doing things outside the campground itself, but the campsites themselves, in my opinion, are a bit lacking to be considered camping because of the lack of trees and privacy and no ability to have a campfire. Also, $45 per night in what was still basically the off-season (since the swimming pool was still way too cool for the average person to enjoy) was a bit high in our opinion.

Park is well located for access to Foley and the outlet stores. Also close to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. An easy drive to the beaches. Quiet park. Level concrete pads. Pool. Individual bathrooms that were very clean. We stay here when we come to the coast. Tried one or two other ones over the years but gravitate back to Anchors Aweigh. On-line reservations make it easy to reserve sites. Good dog park. Lots of activities for snow-birds.
