Rented a junior suiite. It was ugly. Door so cracked I could see the outside. Junior Suite had no mini-frig. Dark, ugly welcome into the room. Couch and a TV. Pool half drained. Met with the Manager and a gol a 15% discount from the absolute worst experience of my life. No use of the pool. Turned away from the tiki restaurant because I didn't have a reservation and there were only two people dining.. Sent away in tears. They promote themselves as modern but the cracks in the wooden doors show daylight. My first approach to reservations was a thrreat that if I lost my key I would be charnged $300.00 so my junior suite, which didn't even have a mini-fridge nor no access to ice, kind of sucks. I moved out into a much better spot that had all of the security and necessities needed. All in all I would give this place a 1 star. It kind of ruined my vacation.

We chose this place because it was outside of the main drag and had both a swimming pool and beach access. The swimming pool was handy because it was large, well appointed and utilized. Our kids enjoyed the break after several day long excursions. Taxis into the downtown were only $2 per person and were available on request at the front desk. We never waited more than ten minutes for one to arrive. Downtown is at most 10 minutes drive so is easily accessible and there was always one to bring us back. The hotel itself was not fancy but had everything you would need. The hotel staff was both friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Excursions were offered by the front desk. They were at most $5 more than going into town and booking the same tours. However the hotel recommended tour picked you up and brought you back to the hotel . The food and drinks were okay so we mostly went downtown to eat and have drinks. Lunch options were not too bad and we regularly availed ourselves of them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, found it to be comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families.

Well, what to say . Very disappointed . The reception asked to pay even we have payed 10 days before and wouldn’t allowed us to check in until we proved we had payed . When we finally got the proof , with the email that the hotel sent us the receipt , they made us wait until the last minute for the rooms . For this inconvenience and the embarrassment at the front desk they told us that we could have the room at 11 am , beside 3 pm as the check in time really . I thought was very kind of them , after all they tried to charge us twice . When 11 am came, guess what , need to wait more. , no problem . I did ask if was possible at least one room out of the 5 we had payed to be available so we could put our stuff and go to see the city but the girl at the reception was incredible rude told us to seat and she will let us know when is ready . I run a your company that brings at lease 40 people ever two month to the island of Bocas c for Sure not staying in this hotel again. The staff at the restaurant was amazing , totally different . Smiling , fast and happy to help.

While there are mixed reviews on this resort, the bad ones are out to lunch. This is a great place to stay. We stayed 4 nights. The rooms are clean, and safe. Some breakfast items are a little unusual (stir fry), but there is a variety to choose from. And always fruit and cereal, and toast if you are picky, like me. Pool problems are probably an ongoing issue due to the heat, and the rain. I know it is for ours, at home. But, they work tirelessly to make it right. So, you just have to be a little patient. We spent most of our time on the beach side - in and out of the sea. It was awesome. There are 2 buoys that mark a break in the breakwater. This is where you can walk through to the other side, and play in the soft waves. It took us a few times to figure this out, so I am passing it along. While the open air reception area is understandably non smoking, there are receptacles placed outside ,for use. For room recommendations, I wish we had had a ground level unit. Sometimes I worry about the little geckos with ground floor rooms, but that shouldn't be a worry here. The ground floor rooms would make it handier to get to the beach or the pool. Although the second story rooms have balconies that are more private. It is quite a large hotel with loong hallways. Have fun - we certainly did. I have an awesome video of the place but cannot post here. contact me to DM you.

We traveled to Bocas del Toro and as soon as we arrived, a tropical storm hit and a national protest took place-although the protests were pretty far away and Bocas was not impacted, but we could not drive back home. We booked this place and stayed an extra week to wait so that we could go back. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed this place. The location is great, with a dock to take water taxis, the breakfast was good but best of all the staff is amazing.

Our first day was a rough one. There was a large downpour ahead of and during our arrival. This knocked out some power and our room had a musty smell. We asked for a different room but were told they all would probably smell like that due to the humidity and rain, Our room was an adjoining room and we could hear the other guests at night. The pool was freezing and dirty. We thought about leaving. I'm glad we didnt. The musty smell went away the next day, the pool warmed and cleared up and we got creative to block noises from the other room. The front desk was very helpful including Yvette, who was there every day. She even assisted our son with a scrape on his foot. (she's a former pediatrician) The rooms are worn, but beds comfy. The pool is huge, but not used that much as people leave during the day. There's a volleyball court with soccer goals and that was a hit with our son. There's ping pong and you can also use the kayak's. Taxi's are plentiful outfront. It's a 5 minute ride into downtown and equal distance to restaurants north of the hotel. Wifi is strong throughout the hotel, which is a big plus. Breakfast buffet is good, but lunch and dinner service are slow. Happy hour is solid. Overall, if you're looking for a place outside of downtown that is spacious with a pool, lots of open spaces and good service this is a great option.

Arrived 3/26/22 had an amazing greeting by our check in hostess Kenya- if I could take her back to Montana USA I would do it in a minute. We actually gave her $100.00 because she was always available and pleasant. Otherwise dirty, rude staff. The manager especially when I tell you attitude it was appalling but interesting enough once she found out we gave Kenya a 100.00 she was overly kind but I wasn’t even interested in her fake behavior. When we would go to their restaurant the staff was lazy on their cellphone looking at you as if they were the customer - food was cold and never up to par . I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Just returned from a 4 night stay. A highlight was comfortable beds. The rest of the room was very dated. Floors are horrible. No refrigerator as advertised. Elevators broke. Shuttle to town out of service. The swimming pool very murky. Horrible service at the restaurant. No snacks or water or pop available to purchase before the restaurant opens for lunch. Breakfast was adequate but ver6 basic.

Nice rooms right at the beach, especially in the left wing. I enjoyed my stay. It is a bit rundown place but not too rundown. Because of covid it was not very busy but everything was open. nice place overall with friendly staff
