I am not going to mention our room was right above the railway station as we were far too exhausted after climbing Machu Picchu to notice. If not it would have been an nuisance staying on that side. Very pleasant and helpful staff, especially as we needed breakfast at 4.30 am in order to make the bus for the hike. Clean room with ample space. Will recommend! Wifi a bit wobbly, but who cares?
We stayed here for one night before heading up to Machu Picchu. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast starts at 4:30am, so it was perfect for us since we wanted to be at the entrance of Machu Picchu at 6am. We had a very late train back to Ollantaytambo (7pm) and they stored our luggage the entire time. We could wait in the lobby for as long as we wanted with free tea. Very accommodating! The gentleman at reception also gave us a great recommendation of were to eat. Worth it!
The shower was awesome. Everything was great except the wifi was a bit spotty and I was on the 5th floor, so a bit of a walk up the stairs. The breakfast was decent. Room was clean. I liked that there was a fan in the room. A nice place to relax after a long journey!
When I was looking for a hotel to stay at I came across Flowers House. My stay here was way beyond any of my expectations. The staff was welcoming extremely nice and helpful. They treated my friends and I like royalty. The cleanliness is superb (I cant say that about many places in Peru). It has a prime location and the food was fresh and delicious! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Brizeyda, and she was like the genie from Aladdin she went out of her way to arrange everything that our heart desired. From massages, tours, dinner reservations and late night desserts.
My partner and I stayed for 1 night at this nicely located hotel. Easy to find along side the rail station. Very friendly staff happy to help. Nice sized clean room we had room 305. Only problem we had was selfish guests with no consideration for others making lots of noise at night when returning to their room, some people get up very early to take the trip to Machu Picchu and would like to sleep undisturbed. Apart from this issue it is a nice hotel and recommended by us.
Convenient walk to the train depot. In fact very close to busses for machines picchu as well and to the spring. Breakfast was nice. The rooms were modern and clean. The beds were comfortable. No complaints.
Hi guys, please be careful, we got stolen while at this hotel, we had a massge booked by the guy at front desk, while we were out, they got into our room and took personnel belongings. ***CAREFUL *** EMPLOYEE THIEFT ***
This place is close to the train station. It's clean. The showers are hot. The linens are clean. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but it's adequate. You're not staying in Aguas Calientes. There is nothing here except Machu Picchu, so you don't need plush accomodations. It's fine for a night.
Up here in the mountains the water is freezing so you want to find a place that has reliable hot showers. We had a 6 a.m. ticket booked to Machu Picchu but could not shower in the morning because the showers were cold. Not just cold but I see cold. we waited over an hour for them to fix the showers which they kept promising that they would do but the showers never got hot or even warm. so we missed sunrise at Machu Picchu. My advice is to avoid this hotel especially since most people come up here with only one shot to see the famed Machu Picchu in the morning.
My room and bathroom was very nice and clean. The views from the window were gorgeous. The breakfast had lots of options like fruit, bread, yogurt, cereal, and eggs. There was also lots of drink options for tea and coffee. Check out is at 9:30 but they let me store my bags for free while I was visiting Machu Picchu. The staff was very friendly as well.
