From the moment we entered Casa Del Sol we felt welcomed. The staff were generous and extremely accommodating. Rodolfo, the concierge, would walk us to his favorite restaurants ( all of his choices were excellent!) and introduce us to the proper people for the best service. Our room was wonderful and it had a magical view of the mountains and river, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has a soaker tub. All of the staff went out of their way to help us. If you stay here make sure to either book the jacuzzi or a massage. When we needed anything the manager, Karen, would go above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Obviously after such a wonderful experience I have to recommend Casa Del Sol.

We stayed 1 night at the Casa Del Sol during our trip to Machu Picchu. We had an amazing time! The room was comfortable and the staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Rodolfo worked in the rest and he was so hospitable. He took great care of us after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Def stay here if you are planning a visit to Agua Calientes!

Room was great; had window over the small river. Greeted us w tea; very, very helpful. Kept bags for us while we went up to Machu Picchu even after we checked out. Gave us a box breakfast in am to take up the mountain. Let us rest in lobby (and post-check out) waiting for the train and offered us (free) tea. Great people. I would recommend.

Victor and Christian were awesome! My boyfriend and I were both sick and Victor went above and beyond to help us get better. He brought us different teas and breads and even checked in on us in between shifts when he was not working. The staff at Casa del Sol really treats you like family and goes out of their way to ensure their guests are comfortable, healthy and happy. Plus the location is ideal and the rooms facing the river are so peaceful and serene!

This cute boutique hotel is the perfect hub for a visit to Machu Picchu. My husband and I spent 2 nights here and we are so happy we did! I was in awe when walking into our room. The view of the river is magical and the calming, whimsical music playing was a great touch! The room was very clean and stylish and listening to the sounds of the river at night was so relaxing. The hotel did seem a little short staffed. However, we came during a weird Covid lull and were one of the only people in the hotel… there actually weren’t many tourist around the whole city which was pretty special for us. That being said the staff was super attentive and helpful. The front desk was always attentive to all of our needs and even got us a guide for Machu Picchu last minute! I highly recommend everyone to stay here during their Machu Picchu adventures.

Service was outstanding! They help with all the info on tickets, guides, transportation since we couldn't find a bus due to the time we were arriving. We were greated at the station by Julio who took us to check in. Then checked in by Maria who was super!!! My son got sick and not only she picked up the food for him but also food to go with his medice!!! We met Rodolfo the next day at our delicious breakfast that was great!!! Ernesto the manager was great too answering all of our questions and we had not even made the reservation with them!!! He can be contacted via whatz up +51 979 358 562. They genuinely care about the service and their guest staying there. We were picked up at the airport in Cusco by Johnrody Serrano who picked us up n took us to catch the train to Machu Pichu!!!! He can be contacted at +51 946 735 682! And for Machu Pichu Tours in English and Spanish contact Alberto Regifo +51 984 575 007! Bonus he is a great photographer!!!

Such a beautiful hotel and spa with amazing staff and food. So much attention to detail. Special thanks to Rudolpho for all his help! Had an amazing spa treatment. Loved the rushing sounds of the river right next to the hotel, just lulled me to sleep in the beautiful room on the most comfortable bed.

Excellent service and attention as we arrived. They even decorated our room as a surprise (we are in our honeymoon). Roberto from breakfast shift was so nice and helpful. The place is really near the pick up to Machupichu and near the restaurants too. I do recommend this place a lot :D

The Hotel is centrally located in the main street. The train passes right in front of the door which is unique to any place we have ever visited. The place is charming and the staff is so welcoming. Maria at the front desk was really kind and helped us with anything we needed from accommodation needs to restaurants and to find a guide for our tour to Machu Picchu. Her smile and warm welcome was always present. Rodolfo and Chris at the restaurant were amazing hosts. They made sure we were taken care of and went out of the way to make the kids favorite breakfast and had it ready when we came downstairs in the morning. They took good care of us and the hotel was comfortable and nice.
