The surroundings were just heaven - lush green vegetation, plenty of different birds as well as other wildlife (waterbuck, bushbuck, vervet monkeys, crocodiles, hippos…); (safely) right at your doorstep. The safari game drives were just great, varied with very interesting facts and learning! The food made by Chef Sammy and his team was just delicious - from start to finish. The accommodation luxurious, comfortable, well designed. And last but definitely not least: the staff were all amazing - welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional. I can only highly recommend this location. Consider flying from Nairobi Wilson to Tsavo Finch Hattons, their own airstrip!

The lodge is everything and much more that it promises on Social media! The staff is amazing, attentive, without being invasive of private space. Food is of highest quality. The spa was great, staff and treatments. The safari guides are knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to make the experience memorable. Everything is working, everything is clean. Bed is perfect and the pillows are fluffy :)

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Finch Hatton's. We were particularly impressed by the freindliness and attentiveness of the team. The camp is very well located and the tents and communal areas are luxurious. All in all we rate the camp very highly and will certianly become regular visitors.

Best camp I have been to in Kenya. Beautiful settings from the tent to the restaurant, seating areas, spa and pool...Nature surrounds you, as you can see all sorts of birds and other animals (elephants, hippos, monkeys...) from your tent or as you are having your meals. The meals were amazing and so creative, from breakfast to dinner. The staff is wonderful, they make you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive and are genuinely ready to assist you anytime. Words cannot express how I felt relaxed and welcome during my stay (4 days/3 nights). And finally, the game drives were wonderful; overall I saw less animals than in the Maasai Mara when it comes to the big five, but the specific scenery of Tsavo and the professionalism of the guide (Evans) made it one of the best safaris out of the 4 I have done in Kenya. We would have needed more time to enjoy all the facilities. The spa looked amazing and so did the pools. We had a superb stay in a very well appointed unit. The food was exquisite and creative. The presentation was flawless. Everything was impeccable. The experience was memorable even if this was not our first African safari. The management should just check better the vehicles they provide for the game drives. Ours was from a service provider (and not the camp itself. It broke down and needed to be left running not to stall. It became something we laughed at. If it had been a first safari I am not sure we would have been so comfortable about that. Exceeded my dreams—Beyond my imagination and my senses.. the care/hospitality pride of every single staff person was incredible. From the manager Jonathon..to Harrison our yoga guru healer, the Messeuse, to the head chef, to the morning chef to the servers, housekeepers, and guards and grounds keepers.. they were so grateful and professional and personable.. The propery has long comfy furniture to lounge, a safari bar so old world and so comfy to sit and visit, music - guitars, songs by the fire pit near the dining at night time to look at photos from the safari and process such experiences.the magnificent Safari you just experienced! The “tents!” Are really stunning with full bar, fridges, outdoor and indoor elegant showers/ deep hot bathtubs. Bedding and beds and lighting and fans and absolutely no bugs!! And we looked into a water whole lake (?) filled with hippopotamus!! I still am pinching myself. The spa is sublime.. bc it’s really about the guest and not marketing to get you to buy and we actually healed our bodies from the huge travel on the flights and sitting in the bumpy off road safari rides, that were stacked with binoculars, a cold chest filled with drinks, water, blankets,. The yoga with Harrison has literally taught me how to truly relax my deep muscle pain and knee pain. He worked like a doctor/ healer as he just knew how to teach and move me and my daughter. Our time at Finch Hattons was truly amazing. I think I've only ever been to one other place that felt like it was on the same level. The quality and presentation of the food was comparable some of the best restaurants I've been to in Vancouver, Montréal, or New York. The service was always friendly, efficient, and it seemed like everyone was going above and beyond, whether it was servers, housekeeping, guards, guides, drivers, admin, and more... Everyone was absolutely wonderful. And the facilities and accommodation were *breathtaking*. It seems like it's more difficult to find wildlife in Tsavo West than some of the other parks we visited, but as Mr Jonathan emphasized to us: Finch Hattons aims to be a destination in and of itself to relax and enjoy oneself. Absolutely spectacular and special place. Amazing food, incredible staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home. Attention to detail was immaculate and memorable. The guides and tours were great – we were initially worried they would feel commercialized but Maasai village tour and Chyulu Hills walk were both authentic and beautiful. We can't wait to go back and stay at Finch Hattons again.
