Beautiful spot to have lunch! This pretty place is very near the elephants of Pai. They have a huge garden center here and that is how I found Pai Tree House. Tip* if you are staying else where and you love it; come to Pai Treehouse for lunch and buy a small tree in a pot for your host. I believe in planting trees and bamboo! Save Mother Earth!

Wow this place is crazy. Lovely people running the place. Very helpful and friendly. A little out dated in places but we don't mind that. We had a blast. No complaints. Free pick up service from the bus station and free service to town and back at timed intervals. Very handy when you have 4 young children. There is a restaurant and bar.

We spent our honeymoon here in 2014 and today came back to see what availability there was to choose from. At first we thought it was closed because there was a gate across the driveway. Then someone came to us and told us we could only go in if we paid 20B to see the grounds, or already had a confirmed reservation. Lost us as a customer and we found another place to stay.

Visited the grounds of the resort and paid 20B for the privilege. Our visit only took 15 minutes and wasn't that impressed there are now two sets of tree houses, the first is a proper tree house (rooms built in between branches) the new tree house is rooms on very tall legs in between tall skinny trees. I wouldn't say this is a must see thing, if you have the time and money go, otherwise your not missing much.

Beautiful grounds and great breakfast! We stayed in the treehouse which was an experience. The only remark I can make is the bed was extremely hard so if you plan on staying there for a long period keep that in mind. We also booked a day tour through the resort which was more like a taxi service. The gentleman just dropped us off at places, didn't tell us where we were going. The tour said from 8:30am - 8:30pm and by 10am we had basically finished everything. Rather book tours in the town with an actual tour guide!!

Stayed for a night with friends enroute to Mae Hong Son. ACCOMMODATION Pai Treehouse is not easily accessible, prior transport arrangement will be required — our group moved around MHS on motorbikes. I would classify Pai Treehouse as a themed stay, and probably just a night’s stay would be enough of an experience. I found the accommodation rather ill-maintained, probably because we arrived in the off-peak season but really, that should not be excuse at all. We got the rooms with Garden View which was dingy, and I was also skeptical about its cleanliness. Friends who opted for the treehouse eventually swopped rooms to stay in the same category as us. However all in all, it is a refreshing experience to have a stay experience while nestled right in the hearts of nature. SERVICE Check-in was brisk, and staff were generally friendly and polite. But the language barrier proved to be a problem during dinner time when we repeatedly had issues with our orders. DINING / FACILITIES Basic in-room amenities (bottled water, hairdryer) and toiletries are provided. Wifi is also available in the guestrooms. Due to the off-peak season, we also had dinner in-house. The kitchen was not well stocked due to the low season with several items unavailable. Poor handling of orders when they swopped an unavailable item with another dish without prior advice. Breakfast, also at the same outlet, provided eggs and congee options that were prepared ala minute. Tips: * Check ahead for best travel seasons * Due to setting amidst nature elements, insect repellent recommended, especially over rainy days * Families with children / elderly might want to forsake the treehouse experience for convenience

Pai Treehouse was included in our day tour of Pai (thete was a ฿20 admission fee to the grounds) ... there are very nice gardens everywhere and various features that together provide a lot of great photo opportunities ... the tree house itself looks great but we were not able to go inside

We stayed in the tree house for one night and it was as beautiful as we imagined. The views from the tree house balcony were amazing overlooking dense green and there was a river couple of 100 meters away. A very good sport for morning run. The room was small but exactly as we wanted.

This was a fab setting in the mountains and jungle right on the river. I stayed in a cabin by the river which was a bit past it’s best but I was comfortable. It was clean and quite and full of character. Traditional Thai style building. My friend chose the newer room at the top of the hill which were very spacious and had lovely modern en suit. The restaurant was really a waste of space but they had a free shuttle in and out of pai village any time you wanted it where there are many restaurants . We found an amazing little vegetarian place half way between treehouse and the village. The food was incredible but it was packed all day but closed in the evenings. The one big negative of the hotel was that it is so unique that bus loads of Chinese tourists who stayed for ages and took sooo many photos including photos of us !!!! Really invading our privacy and space The management are aware of the problem and are going to have it stopped . I’d stay again if this was stopped.

We were set to stay at this hotel for two nights and ended up leaving bright and early after one night because we were so horrified. We were given a room that appeared that it had not been occupied in months, nor had it been cleaned in advance of our arrival. Bugs had died on our sheets so long ago they had decomposed, the shower was broken and full of dirt and hair, and there was a musty smell we couldn't rid ourselves of. This was a huge bummer for us. What you can see from this property is that this resort was once awesome, but sadly it's in a state of disrepair and no one working there seems to be intent on turning it around. Add to this the fact that this hotel is way out of the center of town - without a motorbike, it's not convenient in the least. Don't expect service, either - we've asked for our money back multiple times through and have received complete silence.
