I would look into one of the other properties that are also in old town Hvar owned by the same hotel group. The Riva was nice but the restaurant was average at best and right above and next door to several of the popular clubs. If you’re looking to host wedding events at the hotel they would not be that private and our room was quite loud on some nights due to the music (not so much an issue for us but if you have older guest attending they may not appreciate it). The hotel group has two other big properties in Hvar, one just on the other side of the harbor, and another newer one just around the next bay that I think would make for a better wedding venue. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!

The schedule is infrequent and varies by season. It is best to look online and check the schedule. To get to Hvar you have to take a taxi from the airport to the ferry port. Make sure you check which ferry station the boat goes to as there are two ports and one is across the island.
