Simply an awful hotel with awful staff. On arrival, the hotel has no name, just “hotel” which is hardly helpful. One of the glass canopies over the entrance was also broken, as if something (or something) had dropped on it. From there it was all downhill. Hotel and rooms are VERY tired, as is the lobby. My aircon didn’t work so I reported it immediately. And the second day; and the third. They were so slow to fix it I spent the first two nights loosing weight by sleeping in a virtual sauna. Fortunately there was 3 bottles of water in an otherwise empty fridge which I quickly finished. This would prove problematic later. The bed offered so little support it was like sleeping on a loose trampoline. Thank goodness I wasn’t here on a romantic getaway. And the sheets didn’t fit. Breakfast was sustaining, if bizarre and uninspiring, and the internet did work, except in the lobby and restaurant. On checkout I was presented with a card saying water cost $7 each. I explained that this card was not in my room, that I assumed the water was complimentary (like every other room I have stayed in, anywhere), it costs $1 outside, and maybe they could wave the charges to compensate for my sweat box. They insisted it was hotel policy and they were not responsible for the fact I didn’t know this. Ok so both sides were maybe a little more forceful than the above makes out. I offered to buy them 3 bottles of water but the end result was one member of staff said he would personally pay. I suspect he was not telling the truth. And then, mysteriously, their luggage room was full. There are far far better places to stay (a box on a beach springs to mind) so just go somewhere else…
I can’t imagine something like this! The checkin experience was terrible, wasted more than 20 minutes. It is not very clean. It is a cheap option, but never seen nothing like it, only here in Rio de Janeiro.
My second time in this hotel. The problems started when i arrived. I needed a spot to park, they said it was full. No parking. I went to the room: not the double room i booked... it was a twin bed. I called the maid and the reception. The maid said that there was a double room ready and empty in the same floor. The reception said there was not. They changed me to another floor... i carried all the luggage and... the room was messed up. Dirty, not ready to enter. I called them. Again. And they found me another... in another floor! I pissed off and screamed to the poor employee that i would not to carry on the luggage anymore. He took part of the luggage and... new floor.. new room... finally "ready". Tired, i just accepted. Later i discovered that the bed is a crap. Some heavy duty guest damaged the bed and it was not a good bed to sleep anymore. At least the shower was good. The breakfast in the next morning was bad too. BR…
I was at the hotel from March 22 to March 25, 2019. The hotel is located very far from the beach, although on booking.com it is shown in the search as being close to the capacoban beach. The hotel has a bad breakfast - a monotonous menu and not high-quality products. First they gave room 205. In this room the bed was not made, it was also dirty and there were many mosquitoes. I asked to return the money and cancel the reservation, said what to do through booking.com, which is a lie. As a result, the money was not returned but replaced by another room (room 914). The new room was also dirty, without a hairdryer and with a broken sink in the bathroom. Negative feelings remained from communication with the staff - they always say “we cannot do anything”. I do not recommend.
Got an email cancelling our booking on the day having booked through booking. Com. Tried ringing 3 times and no one picked up. No courtesy of a call or response to my email. Booked over 4 weeks ago. Beware when you book this hotel.
