I stayed here 3 nights after checking out of a hostel a little early due to noisy guests and lack of sleep! This hotel was very comfortable, with a really nice rooftop pool. Breakfast had lots of options and all the staff at the hotel were very attentive and friendly. My only complaint is I ordered room service that never arrived - my Portuguese is admittedly terrible so perhaps something got misunderstood! It’s a residential area with plenty of shops and transport nearby and Flamengo Park is a short walk away. It’s a taxi ride to the more touristy areas. This is a decent option if you’re looking for something clean and comfortable away from the tourist hot spots.
Very good hotel! Great service, excellent resturant and the buffet is fantastic. It is especially helpful for Coeliacs. Everything is labeled with a wide range of gluten free food. The best we have come across in our travels.
The hotel is located quite a way from Copacabana, it is about R$20 to go to Copacabana by uber. The neighborhood is a little bit run down but feel safe to go around in day time or early evening. there are a few restaurants in-the area. The hotel is so so nothing great, they gave me the inside room with no view at all and the bed is a double bed. The room is small. The bed is not as comfy and beddings and towels are worn out. Breakfast is the same every morning, has poached eggs, scambled eggs, bacons, cold cuts, cheeses and a lots of breads, pancakes. Lots of fruits and juices. So depending how much you pay, if you need to pay high price for the room here, you may want to look for other hotel.
The hotel has hundreds of rooms and only two elevators to attend the demand. Others elevators are ‘under maintenance’. It is not possible to know the rest of the services because everything is always very crowded. It is important to mention that the staff is very friendly and helpfull.
We chose this hotel based on it not being in the heart of Tourist central of Copa Cobana. What a good idea it was! Super friendly staff and competent service made it feel like a small intimate hotel rather than the exceptionally large establishment it turned out to be. All you can eat buffet meals with divine ripe fruits for breakfast, local brazilian specialities and pastries made lingering over breakfast a real treat. Local shops had an array of souvenirs and clothing plus the local Sunday market made it ideal for shopping too. Good selection of cafes, restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. Couldn't fault this location on any way.
