    Pontal Hostel is a mix of Hotel and Hostel. Located in front of the beach configured with ten private suites overlooking the sea and four collective suits. All facilities are brand new, have split air conditioning, bathroom and wi-fi. We have a feeding area with guest kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave) integrated with the wood-fired oven and barbecue for guests. In the recreation area are the swimming pool, snack bar, lounge, TV room.

    Very nice hostel, really close to the beach! Very friendly and helpful people. Great breakfast! You can borough surfboards and even book classes of surf. 2 min away to next restaurant. 5 min. Walk to city center.

    wow, love staying there,you feel like you on the beach, and your close to some nice beach. I when with my family there and we all love it very many.They have a nice room with a great view of the sea. i can wait to go back .

    Awesome place, close to the beach, very nice environment, great prices, good vibe, lovely staff! What else do you need? Perfect for a dream holiday with the lads! Waking up to the beach, if you dont want it then you can choose the swimming pool. I'm writing this review and right now there's a birthday party going on. Sexy live brazilian music and very nice people around! If you want a good place to stay while in Rio and you want peace, come to Pontal Hostel Macumba Beach! …

    Horrible experience. Reserved a single room (its on the beach front and noisy all night as people come and go). I had to chase the night watchman for sheets and towels. Windows were left open, so the room was filled with mosquitos. In the morning, I was covered head to toe with bed bug bytes. I found blood on both the mattresses in the room - I should have known better. Without the bed bugs, it wouldn't be good value for 1/2 the price they charge. Shame on you Pontal.…

    The hostel is located next to the Macumba beach, witch is a surfer paradise. But surfer or not, it's a nice place to stay. The view from the private rooms is astonishing, and the sleep with the sound of the ocean is just heaven. I've been at the hostel 3 times, and every time very pleasant stay. The wifi is good, and the speed is also good for Brazilian standards. Breakfast is average I think, but again it's not a hotel but a hostel. I've stayed in private rooms every time, and they are good equipped with flat screen tv, digital cable tv, quiet aircon and the shower is very good! The room was cleaned every day.…

    Olá Boa Tarde! Estarei passando meu aniversário no Rio de Janeiro entre os dias 3 a 6 de outubro de 2019. E preciso de hospedagem para minha família, somos em 10 pessoas, vocês têm acomodação para grupo? E a localização do Hostel é de fácil acesso à cidade do Rock?
    Olá! Vou para o Rio em setembro e gostaria de saber quanto é o preço de traslado do aeroporto Tom Jobim para o Pontal Hostel (vice vesa)? Precisarei ir para o Rio Centro na maioria dos dias, e queria saber se tem disponibilidade de táxi no período da manhã e a noite? E qual o custo da passagem?
    Oi Elide, tudo bem.. O valor do translado do aeroporto até o Pontal Hostel, saí ´por R$ 140,00 (o carro para até 04 pessoas), inclui o pedágio da Linha Amarela e estacionamento.     Olá, Em novembro estarei indo para o show do Arctic Monkeys no HSBC Arena. Gostaria de saber a distância daí até lá e se seria fácil a utilização de táxis para ir e voltar do evento. Não conheço o RJ e agradeço qualquer informação que possam me dar. Valéria
