OK, I've stayed in a lot of hotels. Generally they are pretty nice hotels, too. But this hotel was definitely a cut above.
First of all, I love the app. I love that I can pick my own room and use the digital key. But...More
We stayed at the Hilton Arlington for two nights while visiting family and were very impressed. It seemed as though everything was a level above what we expected. I had stayed in the Arlington Holiday Inn a month ago and was expecting a similar experience,...More
We stay at this Hilton regularly due to its proximity to my mother's condo. Although it's one of the pricier places to stay in the area, can't beat the quality and location of this hotel. Staff are always welcoming, rooms and lobby are always clean,...More

There is a stop on the Metro that exits onto the National Mall area, close to many of the Smithsonian buildings. (There are many.) If you enjoy a good walk, as I do, you can then walk to the WH. If you cannot, you can Uber yourself over there or get back on the Metro and exit at a station close to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. To my knowledge there is no stop on the Metro that exits right by the WH.
